Thousands of these from a seller on ebay for £4.35 or £8.50 for 8.
Got a load at xmas and they last a good while on the kids toys.. No need to ever buy disposable again.

OK, and an OK price, but Low Self Discharge (LSD) ones will be far more use for most people, I certainly don't buy the standard type any more, best value current deal on LSD type are these:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/vapextech-instant-2300mah-aa-4-pack-5-40-delivered-vapextech-uk/899666
Dearer at £5.40 but includes plastic case.
With the LSD type you really don't need disposables again as they will still be charged when you go back to them, unlike the standard type which is often the reason people reach for and end up buying expensive disposables!

I've been guilty of charging batteries and not using them straightaway. Then I go back to use them and they obviously need charging again..!

Heat for this and thanks to nihcaj for the heads up on the LSDs.

Cheers....

IIRC these Accu series ARE LSDs right?

Would not say its a great deal asda keep selling them at £4.50 and there are a few online shops that often selll them for less

I have to agree LSD are the ones to buy now, I`ve been buying them for over a year and they really do work.

GP AA ReCyko 2100mAh Rechargeable Batteries (4 Pack + 2 Free)

Are very slightly cheaper (64p saving per 8, calculating at unit price per battery) than the previous LSD last link, with the 2 free offer currently on.

The Duracell Accu ones are LSD / hybrids

No, these are definately NOT LSD cells. I have plenty of these for RC toys, but they self discharge really fast and to get the best out of them you need to charge them on the day of use.

After a week sitting unused these are more or less empty. LSD's will be better for 90% of uses, but these ar okay for specific uses (such as radio controlled racers).

Teh best deal wa steh Duracell Stay chraged selling for £2.50 per pack at Asda few weeks ago - now expired I think. They last 5x better than supreme according to the packet.

Bought a couple of packets of these from asda and I am not overly impressed. As others have said they don't hold charge well, ok for someting you use on a daily basis and recharge afterwards but not so good in something you only pick up to use once a week

GP AA ReCyko+ LSD

Put two in my pc mouse a year ago and I've never charged them once.

20p cheaper at 7dayshop.com (linky).

I ordered a battery charger and a pack of four of the Duracell 1000 mAh AAA rechargeables from 7dayshop and they also sent me a Brucie bonus pack of their own brand AAA rechargeables FOC.

i ordered these when this deal was posted, using Amazon 1-click.

Received them today and the order has been fulfilled by Indigostarfish from Jersey with a FIVE POUNDS postage charge!!

I'm returning them under DSR 7 days, although I'll have to pay the return postage.

I'm sure the deal originally offered free Amazon postage.

Check your invoices if you also ordered and want to watch the pennies.

Shame one can't turn off Amazon Partners.

it is still free P&P and fulfilled by amazon. You must have clicked on the wrong item to purchase. Surely you can check your online order description.

@csiman When I click the 'Go to deal' button above, Amazon's page tells me I ordered this item earlier in the week. I've posted the batteries back this morning for only 93p so i'm not much down. Just glad I didn't rip the packaging open as before I happened to check the invoice.

Maybe my 1-click settings are wrong in some way, but I've now turned that option off as I no longer trust it.
