The Duracell Flash ProPhoto SDHC cards optimize recording performance to ensure that you capture more hi-resolution digital images or digital video. Available in the highest possible speed class, currently Class 10, these cards can transfer image files from camera to card at an impressive rate of up to 30 MB per second. The speed capabilities of these cards are optimized for photo and video and won’t provide any tangible benefit on other devices. As with any SDHC class memory, please check your Owner’s Manual to ensure that your camera or recorder and your card reader are HC-compatible.

I wonder how it compares to this http://www.amazon.co.uk/KomputerBay-Class-Secure-Digital-Memory/dp/B003SGGG2Y/ also class 10.

Good question..... I found this last week and was tempted. According to one of the reviews on amazon they said it does 17mb/s. The duracell description states it does upto 30mb/s.

unforts class ten just means minimum 10mbps... so you shd go by quoted speeds or reviewed speed tests

Better to go by reviewed speeds. Most companies tend to be optimistic with their claims.

agreed... pinch of salt needed, but looks like duracell are quite accurate.
their class6 150mbps sd cards fare well, so this should be faster

Very few class 10 cards run at class 10 speeds. Most people buy class 10 to get "true" class 6. But you shouldn't be too surprised when there is a £40 gap between the cheap and expensive class 10 cards.

I agree with above - reviews and third party testing is the only way to be sure. Unfortunately there are few ways to judge build quality.

I just bought a the same one but a 16gb £15 inc P&P thinking was better to have 2 16's than one 32

Duracell? lol
Why funny ?
Name makes tend to want quality producers to make their goods with their name on - Play.com use Toshiba for example.

Looks like 7 days will be out of stock for a while as these have been on order for a few weeks - I bit the bullet and got a couple for £2 more each from expansys
