Reading the poor reviews on Amazon, they are useless if you want to use them a week or more after charging them.

Mine last ages before they need charging. Suppose it depends on what you're using them for though.

I'm confused.

7dayshop normal price is £4.69 which is cheaper.

Amazon price is £4.95, so did DADSCAB order from there?

I bought some a couple of months ago at just over £4 and am pleased with them.

They were cheaper at Amazon, only £4.49 but they must have just put the price up to £4.95.

If you are after 8 they are cheaper still at Amazon. Only £8.70 for 8

The usual problem, that's why I no longer buy this type. Use low Self discharge type (eg eneloop, hybrio, good2go etc.) often very little different price too, but a LOT more convenient.

Disagree hot. Just check out the more than double price for these in supermarkets and for lower mah. I also have 6 sets and have had no problems with charge or discharge even when left around.

If you have a fast charge it only takes an hour to charge. Never tried it in a remote but who cares just put a normal duracell battery in it and it lasts ages anyway.

The price other sell them for is irrelevant! There's noting remotely special about Duracell products, Period. So only worth buying them when a similar price to others.

The capacity in mah is irrelevant when comparing to the LSD type, they are nominally lower at 2000 or 2100mah, but perform better, especially so after being left a short while. With Low self discharge batteries you simply don't ever need disposables at all, as they are always charged when you come to use them. Speed of charge then becomes irrelevant too, as you are not left waiting for batteries to be topped up. Now they are little more expensive than disposables, your are simply throwing money away buying disposables, ever.
