I looked at these ones too when i was ordering but these are not the same, If you look at the description then you will notice it. The ones i posted are "supreme" which ought to be more powerful. i think the pic on the link you posted is wrong which is also causing confusion.

No confusion, Duracell only do one type of 2450mAh AA battery.

Check the retailers on my Amazon link and you will see 7dayshop are there, charging £4.70.

Sorry, still COLD.

I never no which way to jump when it comes to rechargeables .Do I by branded and British or imported off ebay? I have just bought a pack of 12 Chinese 2500 batteries for a fiver. Not sure quite how genuine they are but so far they seem to be working ok in my camera.

I was looking at these on 7dayshop but opted to buy the pifco 2500 ma as they had good reviews and you alsoget adaptors to conver them to both C and D batteries although you only get 2 of each some gives you more options for the battery use

Cheaper from a number of sellers on eBay, and you'll receive them next day by first class post... That's a lot quicker than 7dayshop...
I ordered something that was in stock from 7dayshop a few weeks ago, and it took 7 days to arrive.. They didn't ship it for 4 days, then they are in jersey so that delays it too.. Now I know why it's called 7day shop...

probably due to the fact that all batteries like this (NiMH) lose about 2% charge per day - are you expecting lithium AA's?! oO

I think they should change their name to 7daydelivery !! :p

On the contrary, 7dayshop was recently named as Best Online Retailer by Which? (if I remember correctly).

.No, these are the normal ones that will lose their charge within days.
The ones that are low-discharge and last for more than a year after charging are called Duracell Active Charge or Duracell Stay Charged (older version).

Alternatively Sanyo's version is called Eneloop, and Uniross's are called Hybrio, all are quite similar and get good reviews. Dunno much about 7dayshops own brand, but heard they're ok too. Definitely a better buy than these Supremes.

The only advantage these standard rechargeables have is if you require a high mAh, as the low discharge ones only go upto about 2000mAh currently.
