It does say "Please Note: These brand new and fresh batteries are bulk packed for us and supplied to you in sealed white boxes". Hopefully that means new-ish..

It's not about new-ism. Batteries tend to lose their hold after a set period (expiry date) so unless you use a lot of AAA batteries, some of these might be wasted. Personally, I only use them on remotes so they're not for me but the deal is hawt.

As I said on the other deal, I'd rather buy rechargeables than add that many batteries to land fill...

I have a box of them with me here!
They expire MAR 2015 and they certainly appear real.
They also have the charge indicator on the batteries.
Very impressed with them so far! im using them for dictation voice recorders.
