A Really Superb 7dayshop.com Deal on this Bulk Pack of Duracell's Most Powerful AAA Battery - When only the very best will do. The M3 Ultra range is Duracell's most powerful alkaline battery available. Please do not confuse Duracell M3 Ultra with lesser power Duracell "Plus" or Duracell "ProCell" types these are significantly more expensive and offer much improved performance over these battery types !
Duracell M3 Ultra batteries also have the very useful "Powercheck" feature built in too. Please compare our price and see the great value that 7dayshop.com offers !

This AAA size battery is also known as MN2400 and LR03.

What on earth would anyone do with 40 triple A's? Even 40 double A's would be hard for most people to get rid of within the shelf life.

Having retired after being in the Battery business for 30 years I can tell you that these are Duracell M3 (slightly better spec then Alkaline) but they are known as "Re-packs" in the trade.

The power in them are inferior to the original packs so my advice BEWARE

So buy new technology low drain rechargables... Eneloop, Hyybrio or (my personal preference) the Vapextech ones etc. Then you never need run out of charged ones. Means you no longer have to buy disposables at all - even when they are THIS cheap, it makes them very dear by comparison!

I do. Anyway, a lot of stuff uses chargeable batteries like MP3 players, etc, and then there's rechargeable batteries that replace these.
#21
Cool, needed some batteries anyway!

yes, in the "higher end" stuff like mp3 players, fine, but in 30 or 40 toys (I have 3 children under the age of 5) that just make an engine noise or play a silly tune, I'm hardly going to load up 80 eneloops (only to see them accidentally thrown away when they run down etc.).

WTF - already have rechargeables, why would I buy more?? am saying I would use these when I don't have any rechargeables pre-charged ready to go, so instead of waiting for them to recharge could use these... especially for when I need them for my camera, or do you think that they subject for the photo would wait while I nip home to recharge the batteries
I very rarely buy disposables because I believe them to be a waste, but they are handy for having around for the odd appliance here and there that can't wait while you check your rechargeables for ones that have charge in them etc.

Hi

I'm interested in the batteries you mention. Where can one buy the Vapextech ones at the best price? Is it on their own website? Thanks.

Yes, usually where I (and a good few others on here) get them:
http://www.vapextech.co.uk/acatalog/High_Power_Consumer_Batteries.html
(down the page, the green ones - 4x AAs are £5.40 delivered, or less in bigger quantities)

good deal, great for xmas.

just ordered thanks op will come in handy for toys at christmas
#34
after they're dead, just remember to dispose of these irresponsibly - eg like lobbing them into your neighbours garden.

I'd be more worried about the information contained in post 12 of that thread (especially given post 15 of this thread)!
