Posted many times before - they're always this price...

Same thing in AAAs http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=103929 £13.69

Or the lesser Duracell Plus type are £13.49 and £12.49 respectively for AAs and AAAs.

Even better are the newer Procell types, but you'll need to go the Ebay to get the best deals for multiples of 40 or 50 etc.

As a guide, you can get 40 AA Procells for around £12.50 delivered - a better deal all round.

I've been really impressed with these new Procell types which I've bought only fairly recently.

Obvious bit of maths but for those wondering what sort of bargain this compares with.

Divide by 10 for 4 pack equivalent price = £1.47 for 4. £2.94 for 8.

If these were typically £3 for 4 then these would be around £30 for the box.

Good saving.

Are the procell batteries better than these
#6
Duracell says Ultra is best, there's no mention of Procell, just 'Plus'

You can get Panasonic Pro Power in a box of 48 for about a £1.00 less.

They say Procell are for 'professional' use - as used by the Police etc..

My experience is, yes they are much better!

I would rank them:

Procell
Ultra M3
Plus

Found this for example:

Procell AAA batteries are manufactured by Duracell and aimed solidly at use within battery powered devices in the workplace.

Unavailable in high street outlets, Procell batteries are manufactured using the latest battery technology and with an advanced manufacturing process. This has resulted in an excellent battery which is now recognised for quality and dependability by industry professionals. What's more, Procell batteries are available at great prices.

So many posts. Did I miss the bit where you said where you can get THIS product cheaper?

Loads of fake Duracell on eBay and Amazon marketplace. Are these definitely legit?

We've been trying to say - that these are not only cheaper, but BETTER batteries.

DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!

I'm stunned this thread got this long without the boring Rechargeable Battery Police making another unwelcome appearance. So just for old times sake, and in case anybody is feeling like we are missing out, I will put on my Hemp Sandals, Fairport Convention T-Shirt, give up eating meat, and make a few random comments...

These are so bad for the environment....global warming...rechargeables are so much better...You should not be promoting these....er....Meat is Murder.....Free Range eggs only....Dont shop at Primark.....etc, etc, etc....yadda yadda yadda.

Was that ok for everybody? (_;)

You are right to remind us that there are so many things more important than saving a few pence. Knowing that someone like you can understand the issues - even if you don't care at all - is life affirming.

In reference to other comments the 'Procell' batteries are the same as Duracell Plus consumer batteries but with slightly less durable 'professional' covers. Some leaks have been reported.

Personally I prefer 'Show of Hands' to 'Fairport Convention'...

Peace
