An
Amazon Marketplace seller, with under the rec 98% feedback, only has 96%
Also the deal should say £15.09 as you cannot buy it for the £12.04 you quote

Not sure why these are called auto-switch, as you have to press the button to select the desired connection. Semi-auto at best.

Hmm, do you have one of these?

I have one made by Neet, it looks identical to this, in fact i think this is a clone of mine, and mine autoswitches, the button is there to switch manual should u wish.

I;m pretty sure this one should autoswitch too

eh? £9.99 + £3.05 shipping = £13.04 to me, not £15.09

Mine looks the same, but doesn't autoswitch and so is a bit of a pain.
Think I might just go for this.

By the way, do you have to have the other items powered down for this to auto switch to the one you want to use?

No, mine will autoswitch when a new source is powered up, which is why the button is needed to switch back to already powered on items instead of power cycling them just to get it to switch back hehe.

Voted cold as these can be obtained cheaper elsewhere. Even a quick look on the internet found it cheaper at Kenable which is a very reputable retailer. Reasonable P&P or free if collected.

A few things, with VAT that one u linked is more expensive, it is only the postage that that makes it cheaper, plus the one u linked has no mention of it being HDCP compat and no company has the guts to even put their name on it, that to me says a lot.

More expensive? How do you figure that? With or without P&P this is cheaper. It's the total price you need to look at, and the amazon market place one is delivery only, so the total cost is £13.04, not £12.04 as in the title. £11.18 (0r £11.37 if they add vat to the postage) at Kenable if you have it delivered or £10.18 if you pick it up. Or No brainer really. I've got 3 of these in my house linked in series with various splitters from them also, running my 1080p equipment all round the house with no probs. Good quality stuff and nice small family run company to deal with.

Reports on the net that these do not autoswitch as advertised, and like i said, no one seems brave enough to put their name on the item, it is obviously junk, sadly you bought 3 of em, haven't voted until now, so voted hot to counter your biased opinion.

My biased opinion?! WTF? How is it biased? I own this product, shown that it be obtained cheaper elsewhere and added a comment that was relevant. Just because it hasnt got a name on it doesnt make it bad. They're all the same product and this deal STILL doesnt even show the right price! Your Neet one will be the same product, from the same factory in China, just Neet stuck their sticker on it. Sadly I bought it? Sadly it works perfectly and does everything I want. LOL!
