GREAT first post! I've been looking for a deal for these for ages - great find. reserved one at my local store. Thanks Heat added!

Bought one last week at this price but didn't bother posting here as I took the last one in stock in what seemed like an endless search of the South of England Halfords! Hopefully they have restocked and more people can pick this up - fantastic handheld & fantastic bargin.

Great find, had one for a while now but it'll make a great gift for my mum!

I picked one up the back end of Jauary from the Wakefield store, again, last one on the clearance shelf and it was marked down @ £15

Not many around it would seem.
Showing no stock near me, nearest is a bit too far :-(
#6
Cheers - reserved one.

I used one similar to this in someone's house once, I think its the same - if it is its superb!
I couldn't believe how powerful it was for something so small!

Yeah I did some googling and every review seems to suggest this is extremely powerful - fair enough it only holds a 12 minute charge but for what it is designed for that should be more than enough. Ill pick mine up tonight (and maybe some polish as well) and give the car a good going over on Saturday.

Suggest you call the store before going to pick it up.

I got a confirmation via email that it was ready for pick up, but when I got there they

a) Knew nothing about the order and just fished out the paperwork while I waited.

b) Didn't have any in stock. The only other store nearby which showed stock also didn't have any.

This was the Alperton store for reference.

Waste of my time.

I would also double check, reserved one in Christchurch last night, drove over first thing and they did not have anything.
Great service in-store as they offered me the 12v in car one for the same price instead of £45.00 for my wasted trip
#11
It's not available online according to their site, so you may want to edit the title.
Just reserved one in Yeovil, 1 hours drive away but we have friends there who are going to get it for us.
I phoned just to double check, due to the posts above lol!
Have some rep m8tey!

You can get it even cheaper from your local Currys, here's how...

Go to Currys website, search for pv1205bn and see if it's in stock at your local/nearby store. If it is, make a note of the store's postcode.
Then, go to Halfords website, search for pv1205bn and reserve for collection. When it asks for the postcode, put in the postcode of the Currys store. Then make sure it's in stock at a Halfords within 30 miles of that postcode. If it is, print out the page showing that it's available for £30 at that Halfords.
Then go into your Currys, pick up the item and take it to checkout. Ask them to price match a store within 30 miles (in their price match guarantee). Show them the proof that the Halfords store is showing availability.

It's £69.99 in Currys, pricematch + 10% of difference brings it down to £26.

Funnily enough, my nearest Halfords is next door to Currys and it's in stock at both locations. I've reserved mine at Halfords just in case they run out so I get it for £30 max any way. ;-)

Similar thing happened to me at the Malvern branch. They had my reservation - but didn't actually have one in stock. Supposedly they are phoning around to get one for me, but as it's now end of line stock I won't be holding my breath.

Well after ringing Halfords yesterday to confirm my reserved one was available to collect (it wasnt!), I have still got my reserve with them until 8pm tonight and a closer currys also has it in stock, therefore I have taken a screenshot of halfords website showing they are still available at that branch and I will take in my reserve order print out to the currys where I have also reserved one and get them to price match it. Do you think they will check with the Halfords or just take my two printouts as proof?

Thanx PWolf, I have just got back from Currys with my shiny new pv120bn at the bargain price of £25.99. The girl spent about 20 mins checking and rechecking the halfords website (I think she was hoping they would go out of stock whilst she was on there!) but after phoning the store, could do no more wriggling and had to sell it for £34.01 less than they had it priced.....nice:thumbsup:

Ive had two halfords allow me to reserve it and neither actually had any stock. Useless website.
