Wasn't going to post this here, have been posting the anime bargains I've spotted (Angelic Layer and Madlax Vol 1-7 for £2 each being the best) on other forums. Decided to be nice this time.

The best 6 DVD's in this sale are as follows:

Chobits: Vol. 4 (99p)
Next best price = £13.47

Saiyuki Reload: Vol. 1 (99p)
Next best price = £8.99

Serial Experiments Lain: Vol. 1 (99p)
Next best price = £8.60

Texhnolyze: Vol. 1 (99p)
Next best price = £5.99

Gad Guard: Vol. 1 (99p)
Next best price = £4.99

Zone of the Enders: Delores - Vol. 1 (99p)
Next best price = £5.99

There's also plenty of bargains to be had in the £4.99-5.99 sections, although I think I'd be wasting my fingers if I mentioned most of them. Vol 2-4 of of Serial Experiments Lain for £4.99 each, when the next best price for all of them is £8.60, is amazing value.

I've received all 6 of my 99p orders - 5 were sealed, 1 I had issues with. Anime-On-Line had no problem sending out a replacement that was in perfect condition, not even asking for my original copy back. All items arrived very quickly, too.

kool lets have a look at these bargains!!! voted hot

Free Delivery too..
#3
Correction: Free First Class delivery.

They're selling Volume 1 of these series for cheap to tempt people into buying the other volumes, most priced £4.99-5.99 - Still beating the prices of other stores. Good idea to get people interested, it worked on me as I've now ordered Vol 2-4 of Lain!
#4
Thanks go to Emma for opening her eyes.

Bumping this up now it's back.
#5
Thanks !

That's a good deal ! :-D
#6
Thanks, ordered the Lum (Urusei Yatsura) movies
#7
That is FANTASTIC, thank you so much.
#8
What region are these?

The boxes for a few things are different from those in 'the shops'.
#9
All I've ordered (99p stuff listed in the first post) are R2. What "boxes" are you talking about? All the covers I have are what they should be, as shown on the website.

Anime-On-Line are also connected to MVM, one of the biggest anime distributors. They're trustworthy.
#10
Would anyone mind giving a reason why the heat for this is so low, often even going cold?

I don't mind too much if it's just people being idiots voting cold because "itz a cartoon", I expected that from the majority of the members on here, that's why I didn't post my previous anime deals on here. What I do care about is if people don't trust what I've posted or Anime-On-Line, who are (as I've said before) more than trustworthy since they are connected to MVM.

If people can't see 99p per DVD for DVD's that aren't selling for less than £4.99 elsewhere, plus FIRST CLASS delivery thrown in, as a bargain, well....
#11
No idea here Tune up, I hope you continue posting Anime (and hopefully Manga) merchandise deals, there are definatly fans here, I'm wondering why people have voted cold too :S

If HUKD wasn't so anti-anime I would've posted the recent Angelic Layer + Madlax Vol. 1-7 for £2 per volume + Peacemaker Vol. 1 for £1 sale here. :/

I'll try to ignore the attitude of people on here and post them if I see any future 10/10 deals.
#13
Correct
The main thing is you think its a good deal
#14
voted hot. been looking for some cheap anime
#15
I've voted hot btw, a bargain's a bargain
#16
I'll be honest, I'm not a major fan of Anime, not that I think it's childish or anything, just not my thing. But you're right, it is really strange that this is cold, surely for any Anime fans out there then this is a bargain, and if your not a fan then don't bother voting.

My 13 year old son is a bit of a fan, is there anything that you'd recommend buying hime to put away for Christmas - only 3 and a half months to go. Incidentally I saw my first box of Mince Pies in Tesco's today, but managed to avoid the temptation as once I start buying them, that's it!

Voted Hot by the way.

EDIT - At least it's not negative any more, up to 0.6
#17
Love Anime too

And this should be a lot hotter than it is
#18
Out of the 99p section, 'Serial Experiments Lain - Vol. 1' is probably the best in terms of quality and pricing. It's a very highly rated series from 1998.

You can get Vol. 2-4 (there's 4 volumes in total) from Anime-On-Line for £4.99 each right now. The best price for all 4 volumes outside of Anime-On-Line is £8.60 for each, the box set(s) being around £30.

Has anybody seen Zone of Enders, is it any good ? I was thinking of that one.

The only animes I've gotten into really over the last couple of years or so have been Death Note and Devil May Cry.
#23
- Death Note is my favourite anime so far, amazing stuff.
- Devil May Cry is a series even lovers of the games hate.

To answer your question: No, I haven't; Vol. 1 is sitting on my DVD shelf right now.

Here's a decent looking review...

i recommend

one piece
naruto
Bleach!!
#25
Death Note is truly brilliant, I have both of the live action movies too. :)

Angel Cop is worth checking out as well I think.
#26
1 title has been added to the 99p section at Anime-On-Line:

Requiem From The Darkness - Volume 1
#27
Hey, thanks for the deal.

And remember anime fans, if you have satellite you can catch anime every night on Anime Central #199 and Propeller's Anime Network block #195.
#28
Great deal voted hot.

Have you emailed them? They answered my questions very fast.

Most of my orders were sent out the day after, a few being delayed due to low stock. Going on the fact you're only allowed to order 2 of each after HUKD members found out about this, it's most likely a case of the HUKD fleabay crowd taking most of the stock.

On a semi-related note, Aqua Age 1 & 3 turned up from ADV yesterday morning.

There's been a few changes:

>> Requiem From The Darkness 1 has gone from 99p to £1.99.
>> Vampire Princess Miyu 3 has been added to the 99p section.
>> Vampire Princess 1, 2 and 6 have been lowered in price to £2.99.

Finally got my package today.

All sealed except for 1 (Chobits). Great deal but you have to be patient.

Cheers, OP. :-D
