Is it complete with fake firework display, and mimed singing ?

Watched part of the opening and closing ceremony ,quite intersting if a bit to long. Didnt watch any of the games though (the boring bits).

thought this was meant to be about whether or not it was a good deal as opposed to expressions of like or dislike??

Use affinity link above. Will automatically take you to the product with £1.00 extra off.

Can't believe the chills this ones getting. The idea with HUKD is to find deals and share them, not to criticise the holding nation and use that as the basis for deciding. Personally I thought many of the displays for both ceremonies were innovative and entertaining.

Thanks for that, and I agree with you 100%

People who are voting cold, please provide cheaper alternative

Perhaps it's getting voted cold because it's pointless rubish.

Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's a good deal. If I posted a link to a steaming bowl of dog turds that was 1p, would you vote it hot purely because it's cheap?

Come to think of it, you probably would out of principle.

I found Milli Vanilli more convincing!
#13
why would u buy this?!?!?

I thought the opening ceremony was really well done, the training of those drummers, or the guys doing the printing press were incredible.

Incredibly childish of the western press to have made a thing about the fireworks and the singing. The Australian Olympics pre-recorded some of their opening ceremony too.

yeah, there are some right idiots on this site now who vote on personal preference rather than price.

it will ruin the voting system in the long run

stupid analogy. the deal would be cold cos you could easily get a steaming bowl of dog turds for free

All poundland deals should be voted cold then using your theory as that is always poor quality :whistling:

I'm not normally one for opening / closing ceremonies but was absolutely blown away by it for the first 10-20 minutes of each one.

The London red bus contribution was just a complete embarrassment. What sick group came up with the idea of an exploding red bus? Probably the last image representing London most of the world needed to see was a red bus exploding!

Probably the same group that came up with the 2012 logo :x

Couldn't agree with you more.

The london red bus segment was humiliating. I haven't spoken to a single person who didn't feel the same way. And the 'song' that was performed by talentless X-Factor winner #727 was dreadful. Just, the whole thing, beyond words how awful it was.

One moment of unintentional hilarity though when the little girl walked across the backs of the godawful dancers, most of the dancers were black, which I thought neatly illustrated how Great Britain came to be a world power.
