Ricky Gervais writes, directs and stars in this documentary-style comedy, reprising his role as 'The Office' character David Brent. Taking place 15 years after the British sitcom, the film follows the former office manager as he takes time off from his day job as a sales rep to tour with his rock band Foregone Conclusion. Leaving behind his job at Slough cleaning products supplier Lavichem, for a holiday at least, Brent takes to the M25 on a self-funded tour, with bandmates who can't really stand him, to play to disappointing crowds across the country in one last attempt at breaking into show business. Joined on the road by talented young rapper Dom Johnson (Doc Brown), David is followed by cameras, for what he believes will be a successful film, eager to catch up with him since his documentary appearance.

Great deal, great film. Possibly not able to be fully appreciated by anyone who hasn't heard the podcasts / radio shows as there's a lot of references in there. A modern Aesop tale...

I really enjoyed this. Seems a lot of people that don't like Ricky Gervais watched this anyway and were then surprised by teh fact that they still didn't like Ricky Gervais...

Ricky is amazing generally, but this film wasn't his best.

Not his best work but it still had it's moments. Well worth under £3 (but if you're eligible to get it for this price it's on Prime Video anyway!)

I'm a Gervais fan, but it seems that Ricky Gervais and Mrs Brown's Boys are the two subjects on which people who aren't fans go out of their way to tell others that they don't like them!

Been a long term fan of Ricky Gervais and seen and heard nearly everything he has produced including pre The Office but this film just stinks. Also would not watch Mrs Browns Boys if you paid me, it belongs in the 1970s.
