It's a good price considering you can just walk in and walk out with the discs.

Check 'country of origin' to get the best qual. Japan -best , Taiwan-good or India- ok as giver-ways or leave on shelf.
PCW, (Currys check shop poster if you can find it, did read 'any local store') and Staples also sell these and all offer price match + 10% OTD .

Not a bad price for a good disc.

I'd prefer to get the ones from Play though.
#4
but they are £18 at play, and there is no way of checking if they are Taiwanese MCC/Japanese TY's.
#5
dont rush off for em jus yet the maplin ones are all made in india. Maybe better off gettin pcw pricematch

Looked in Cheltenham branch at lunchtime - Shame all stock was India or Taiwan, so left empty handed.

Nice price if you can get the Japanese ones though

Taiwan MCC are good discs (and better than TY depending on the TY batch you get - TY Verbs seem to be very variable). Taiwanese MCC are well worth the money.

Just to let people know. Always purchased my 100 packs from play.com Looked on the side on the package today and guess what? Changed manufacturers from Japanese to India!!!! Looks like i am heading down to either Sainsburys or PCW to get some Japanese ones.

Purchased 100 from maplins in coventry. All the dvd-r were the made in India ones. What utter garbage. Had 50% failures in burning. Using pioneer 115 and samsung 203. Samsung refusing to burn any of them. Managed to get the pioneer to burn but only at 4x and still getting discs refusing to burn. Off to Leeds or Bradford branch this afternoon to try out the +R and will let you know on the quality there else stuck to purchasing from PC world - 50 for £15 at the moment.
