Great price for this official DVD remote - perfect if you are using or planning to use XBMC.

These normally go for more 2nd hand on fleabay, and are over £10 in some places.

I have no experience of this supplier, but other 365 threads seem positive.

Not 100% sure if this is official or 3rd party - still, good price either way

Well, it was in stock when I posted it - must be out now......hope someone got lucky!

I think their stock levels tend to be quite low. When I've posted some of their deals in the past they've gone very quickly...

Just what I was looking for.

Yeah be careful with 365games. They use pictures of official products even though the items they are selling are 3rd party.

The xbox360 mini media remote offer I posted being a good example.

£2.49 at Woolies

Also about £10 at Amazon.

Was £5 at Woolies a while ago but it was discontinued... £2.49 is good if you can get it.

I received the one I ordered from 365games the other day. When I put batteries in it wasn't working at all.
The curious in me decided to pop open the case and see if there was anything obvious wrong.
It turned out the top battery terminal wasn't soldered to the board. It's as if that part got forgotten about in production. I soldered it up and the remote now works. I wonder if anyone else who ordered on here has the same problem?

However, the range/angle you can use the remote is pretty poor. Probably ok for a kids bedroom for example, but not so good if like me you want to use it with XBMC in your living room and the xbox is tucked out of the way.
Oh, and the build quality of the remote case is shockingly bad esp. the battery cover (since when can you pull apart a remote control casing with just your fingers).

so is it not a microsoft product then - bit misleading with the picture:x

It does now, I'm 100% sure it did'nt when the deal was posted and we replied.

That's why I pointed out that you have to be careful with 365 using official pictures of products and sending you 3rd party items.

Damn it, ordered one of these yesterday - wish I hadn't now

I did comment 10 minutes after posting this deal that the remote may be 3rd party. Sorry if anyone missed the comment.
