Hopefully they're relatively decent, rather than say, Police Academy 28, Rambo/Rocky Five Thousand etc. (you get the idea...)

Ok, Cheers for the Info going to ASDA on Monday, but wouldn`t make a special journey though, there are always DVD`s for a £1 in poundland etc, and they aint up to much!
#7
yeah probably old stock from poundland that would`nt sell
#8
Probably similar to the ones that tesco sell for a quid!

This is probably part of the music and dvd offer promotion that asda will be doing as from this week with dvds and cds from a quid. It's supposed to be starting on thursday, but i reckon most if not all stores will be putting the promotional stock out before then....
#9
ummmm...... can I ask what is wrong with Police Academy 28, Rambo/Rocky Five Thousand. All these films are classics......... My childhood wouln't have been as joyous without sly stone and company :)
#10
I hope they have BMX Bandits.

Or Teenwolf.
#11
Probably the same lot Tesco have got. Probably also the same lot Asda offer for a quid anyway in their racks at my local Asda, just now put on a better display and advertised better!!!
#12
Too right they aint nothing wrong with Rocky and Rambo dont push me !!!!
#13
Thanks for this tuts-is-me :)
#14
Based on the userid, I am sure that they will definetely be selling Tootsie, what a classic. Brings back memories....
#15
Any idea if it's normal opening times?

Asda Leeds ( Pudsey ) is 09 - 6pm

Been there this morning at 9am ( Went for groceries honest ) - sorry but the £1 DVD's are stuff you wouldn't want to buy and that is a big store - maybe the staff have had the pick, but I don't think so from the range that is there. Any sort of half reasonable stuff is £3 - £5.

:-D dont know if you work dude at asda that posted this topic on dvds cause if so you havnt been listening to offers lol dvds start from £3 its crappy pc games at £1,just popped into to look at..... still though some not bad dvds though from £3
#19
Didn't have any in my local asda-in fact there wasn't much stock out apart from some dvds at £3,£5 and £7 as well as a few £3 cds.
#20
Nothing at all in the Cambridge store, just a few oldish dvds knocked down to £3 (and they tend to be £3 anywhere)
#21
Just come back from Asda (Tamworth) nothing much on the dvd front but they had a few pc games Ghost Recon, Prince of Persia, Brothers in arms Road to Hill 30 plus a few others for £1 each. Each PC game had a Limited Editon label on the front saying " produced exclusively for the Daily Mirror in association with Asda" ??
#22
Nothing in Nottingham, only a few games for a pound (Brothers in Arms, Prince of Persia, etc). Had to stock up on creme eggs instead :whistling:

We just found the following at our local Asda while doing our shopping:

Ice Age 2 (1 disc) - £5
Superman Returns (1 disc) - £5
World Trade Center (1 disc) - £5
The Hills Have Eyes (2006) - £5
Addams Family Values - £3
The Twins Effect & Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story - £5

We didn't bother with Superman Returns in the end as it has no extras at all, but got the others. Another reasonable little haul there!

By the way, World Trade Center was marked up at £13.94 (or something like that) but I got the lady there to scan it and it came up at £5. Thanks for pointing out the price of this tuts-is-me, otherwise I'd never have known! :)
