I'm sure it would take alot of cranking to charge a phone fully but as it says it's just for emergency, for a one off call.
Pro's :
Enviromentaly friendly.
Cheap (£1.87 delivered approx).
Cons :
Only plastic so it wont take much to break I expect.

My brother has one too - or at least one very very similar and it's junk.

It powers the LED ok, but that's about it.

ANYWAY, don't most phones take at least 4 hours to charge? Man, thats so much cranking! It any scenario, this product is set to fail.

Imagine trying to crank whilst talking? Right pile of crank.

I'd far rather get one of those 4 x AA external battery packs that charge your phone, or a solar one. At least they don't involve physical input from yourself.

cheers mate - all i wanted to do was tell ppl how shocking they are, as have two other people on here but he still doesnt listen, you can have mine for 1.85 delivered, that way i get some cash out of it, lemme know and ill start a thread :p

What's wrong with putting it in your pocket or bag? NO - you must carry it in your hand and have it ready for a quick crank.
