This deal is a wind up...
(sorry, my first deal post so had to get a line like that in!)

Went in to find another HUKD deal, which I didn't find but came across this instead:

Status dynamo torch, with two LEDs. Was £3.99 now 99p.
My local store had at least 10 in stock after I'd bought mine.
No, its not a quality Maglite but it is cheap and it doesn't need batteries - and it works pretty well...

If you break torches, then don't buy these. It's a great price and a HOT deal, but they are quite weak if you squeeze the dynamo grip too hard or too much. The little plastic clip on the grip snaps inside making them useless.

As I've said, I've voted Hot for is price, this is just a warning to anyone that buys one not to be aggressive with the grip.

It's not that we grip too hard, it's just that we tend to drop them down ladders or stairs!

Going to check today at my local store. Head and rep:thumbsup:

This torch looks exactly like the one I bought at Poundland recently. It was in the oudoor/camping section.
Great bright torch for a pound and as a test, I left it continuously on after charging and the light stayed on for at least 24 hours!

Recently bought one for my little girl on trip to Balmoral. Betty charged £3.99 so this is hot.
