Cool - nearly bought this in the summer at £250!

There's also a deal on the AM05 hot&cool fan/heater buy one and you get a "free" Dyson DC56H handheld cleaner worth £199.99.

Argos have a 12 inch desk fan here for one tenth the price:

missleading
Want one. But 15 minutes of use during a British summer doesn't justify the expense. :(

Last summer when we had the mini heatwave these were sold out everywhere. Price tends to go up then as well, supply and demand. Still a rip off at this price but I doubt they will go cheaper.

If you buy the fan full price at £360/390! eek!
Would love one but just too much to justify on a fan.....now if it had Bluetooth.....! :)

Yep crazy expensive. I guess you could sell on the vacuum and take that into account, but most of the reviews complain how noisy this fan is which puts me off!

Nice deal, but the thing is ridiculously noisy. The Dyson Rep at JL agreed and tried saying it's something you get used to... Personally I'd rather not live with the sound of a helicopter landing on my roof ;)

Seems like a good deal, hot from me.

Bought the AM07 in the summer and was well worth the price. Yes there are the small cheaper ones like the £15 desk fan, but this actively cools the air using magic (well, science and pressure differentials) it and works amazingly. During the summer having it on 30% was plenty and was very quiet to be fair. Easy to go to sleep with it on too. It's only if you set it to full power that it gets really noticeable, but you shouldn't really need that unless you're sitting outside and there's a heatwave

Yep the cooling only fans like the AM07 you bought or the AM06 in this deal are quieter, it's the AM05 which is louder because it is also a fan heater.

Not really. Sure Dyson is high priced for pretty much all it's products, but you do get what you pay for in this world. £15 fan is going to be pants (and they are - they just blow the warm air in a room around a bit). Turn off a normal fan and see how quick you feel warm again. It's practically instant. Not so with the AM07

Ah, I've not tried any of their other ones though had seen from reviews before I bought mine that the AM07 was supposed to be quite noisy

Yeah I guess some people are as sensitive to noise as others. I think these are ok if kept on a low setting.

Well, you obviously got sucked in by the hype.

Dyson, over priced...over hyped...
