While I am looking for new vacuum cleaner, this seems like good deal.

Dyson is one of the best brands around, and perhaps this is their best current cylinder vacuum cleaner model.

Its selling for the same value at Argos as well. But lot more expensive at Debenhams, John Lewis, Tesco etc.

(though please suggest if not worth it)

Ta..

I would also not mind if cold voters can suggest any better models or brand - with similar size and functions.

I am also looking at Dyson hoovers but reading reviews on Dyson's own site is putting me off - apparently it is hard to empty and you get covered in dust. There is a red line on the dust collector and it should be emptied when this is reached. From what I have read it seems that the collection box is just not big enough. However read for yourself. I don't what to spend so much money and be unhappy with the product.:(

Get a Bosch GS50 power silence instead. Around £226 t Amazon, but around £170 at Curry's. Great Vacuum!

Oh.. but came across anything such powerful?
Should it matter if have to clean it little frequently? 2L size seems okay to me.

Thanks.. I won't mind if its not that silence though.. it should perform the main required task - e.g. clean it.

Glad you like it. There were more good reviews than bad on the website but the bad ones are putting me off.:|

Over £300 for a vacuum cleaner, I bet Dyson is laughing his backside off at the mugs that buy them.

No wonder he now owns more land than the Queen;

Not at all, I could afford to buy a lorry load of them, I choose wisely not to.

Mixed reviews about vax.. its cheap but none say that better or as good as Dyson.

If you're looking to buy a Dyson and wouldn't mind an upright, the slightly bigger DC40 - worth reading this thread -

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dyson-dc25-multi-floor-bagless-upright-vacuum-cleaner-179-99-argos-2105403

Essentially Argos still charging £179.99 for the DC25 as of today, but several stores providing a DC40 as an alternative to buyers, myself included. You can load 1.5% 'on card' TopCashBack for Argos at the moment too.
