Got this price online a couple of weeks ago. Good price!

It was posted on MSE but never appeared on here, which is unusual.

..and there lies the choice - other makes of vacuum cleaners don't work very well.

Dysons all have a 5 year parts and labour warranty and low cost fixed price repairs after that...

I had a dyson..once. Dyson charge extra for a "special" attachment for wood floors-actually a standard nozzle. Never functioned properly and soon blew up. My local waste centre had a pile of broken dysons last time I was there. The company used to make a big deal out of being British then exported manufacture abroad. No thanks

So where was that PC made that you're using then....

Dyson R&D is in the UK, which is a lot more than can be said for......just about anything these days. Name some electrical appliances that are actually made in the UK....

You've missed the point, Dyson trumpeted its UK credentials and then scarpered abroad. I attach a link for your consideration.

looking for a carpet wash (shampoo) cleaner, any deals?

Try Bissell Direct
http://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/products/reconditioned

I bought the quickwash recon unit but they actually sent me the more expensive powerwash recon unit & it's been excellent for the price so far. They also threw in a few litres of cleaning solution for carpets & hard floors.

just wanna say a big thanxs for the post, l went into my local tesco homeplus and they had 1 sittin on its own with the SEL of £199..... but it scanned at £139.99, im sooo chuffed its a gud bargain!!!!
#23
Cant' believe this same hoover is £277 on asda, £262 on amazon, £309 on littlewoods!

to be fair its only £10 cheaper than the standard DC14 but the allergy/animal versions usually attract a higher price.

I got one from the asda in barrow in furness, Cumbria. There is one left and they were not with the other dysons upstairs on the mezzanine ... they were downstairs on the end of an isle on a mini pallete near the homeware section

Great thread, just been into my local tesco and grabbed the last one at £139, it also game me 500 bonus tesco club card points on top of the 278 that i had from the double points from the hover, so also £7.78 woth of points. Looks fab as well!! Grea:)t value cheers for posting wouldn't have known otherwise :) !!!
