This is such a fantastic tool, has really made my life easier. Knocks any other handheld vacuum I've tried out of the water. Not that they were in the water, but.. erm..
#2
Its still expensive, is it that good?
#3
I think this will be reduced everywhere as there's a new model about to launch. Hot anyway
#4
Not really a massive discount tbh. Warm from me.
#5
Personally, wait for the new model. Its the fastest handheld motor ever and holds charge for 10 minutes instead of 6. Although if its much more pricey then this model is still good.

Have this and it is excellent!

similar price at a lot of places.

This thing floats? Ace.
#9
What will the new model do , that this one doesnt, I wonder.

it IS expensive, I never thought I'd pay so much for a handheld vacuum, but after having so many others die prematurely and not be that great anyway, I went for it. I love it, and the kids will use it too, because it looks like a toy.

It's like a dolphin.

6 minutes of usage then it needs a 3 hour charge, you sure.

Bit the bullet and got one of these a few months ago. It is good, especially at this price.

I typically only use it for 2 mins clearing up after the kids, so the 10 minute 'tank' on the new one wouldn't really thrill me.

only £70 quid on asda direct

I have a two seater car.

I managed to clean one seat and the footwell before the fully charged battery died.

They are crap - even Dyson direct who I bought it from took it back for the reason above. Fine if you have a spill the size of a hob nob to clean up but forget it if you don't constantly charge the thing inbetween short bursts.

Some Black and deckers are less than a third of the price and last three times as long on a single charge. You could buy three of them and still not spend as much as you do on the Dyson.

Waste of time this tbh...
#16
The do last about 6 mins but without any wire to get the way i can clean my car on one charge or 6 mins.
Great bit of kit and really powerful for such a small unit. Ideal for sofas, chair or small spillages

Maybe the problem is you not cleaning your car more than once per year.

I bought two and held one in each hand while I stomped around the garden shouting "I am Optimus Prime!"

Errrm, ok not sure why you felt you had to make this personal about a bloody hoover but there you go.

Actually I hoover and wash my car at least three times a month - I have nothing against dyson's - I actually use the Animal upright i have to do the car instead.

Ok so 6 mins does not sound like long but it does suck an amazing amount of stuff in that 6 mins. It sucks up in one pass instead of having to go over areas more than once. I have mine rigged up so when its in its holder its always on charge. I was disappointed that you cant run it off the mains. Great unit though and easy to take to pieces and give a good clean!

where can you store this (i.e does it come with a wall mount)?

it looks like it would take up the same floor space as a normal hoover.

Is this really worth the price?
What does this do that one from another brand at less than half the price does not?
I'm confused by the massive price difference..
#30
I guess suction power is the biggest difference.

I got the DC16 Animal for £75 not so long ago so this can't be a good price, yes they do only last SIX minutes!
#34
6 minutes? Anyone know of another handheld vacuum that lasts a reasonable time but is still powerful?
#35
£90 for a mini hoover that takes 3 hours to charge and lasts 6 minutes... are you people mad? Are you seirously ssying this is a good deal and makes like MUCH easier? Craziness.
#36
I bought one of these well ove a year ago and can only praise it! Nothing comes close. I paid £90 and it is worth every penny. Don't knock something until yu have tried it!!!!!!!
