Title says it all, these are normally £80, so not a bad deal in my opinion.

These are a rip off. I took one apart in Sainsury's. Although it looks like a cyclone cleaner (like the uprights) it's just a regular suction vacuum. It has no cyclonic fans. Buy a Dirt Devil or Dustbuster.

best hand held vacuum on the market though even if you only get 6 minutes battery life

Ordered one for the wife for Valentines thankyou mechanicalman. She will love it!!:-D

Dyson are the best handhelds by far. Great for any crumbs or spillages in the kitchen and the only decent handheld I've ever found for cleanning the car. The chargge only lasts a short time but it does maintain its power and suction all of the time.

THE BEST, & what a good price!
..& they DO work unlike the cruddy competition, you can pick a hell of a lot up on 1 charge or less, we have 3 boxers shedding eveywhere ...this is perfect, only surpassed by the animal model??? which grabs cat hair out of fleeces (& if you know how hard that is to shift you'll know it's good)

Is it just me or does anyone else thinks it looks like a futuristic weapon? ....or maybe I've just played too many computer games! Pretty good deal though, so have some heat!

my dad got one of these for xmas. They are without a doubt the best car vacuum I've ever used but the battery life is very limited.

Also it worth checking if its the dc16 mk1 or the mk2

Does it pick up liquid?

good deal, works a treat

VERY VERY heavy vacuum cleaner (for a handheld) - I would not like to be using this for cleaning up more than the odd sprinkle - so make sure you assess the weight before you buy.

I have decent vacuum cleaner and an extension lead.

Certainly okay for the price but not too exciting. £50 is a max i would pay for this. Hugely overpriced to start with. Cheapish battery deteriorates quickly if used/charged too often, otherwise a good if slightly bulky handheld vacuum. As said above there are certainly better ones for £70.

Previous £40 Bosch vacuum deal from Debenhams was 10/10 buy – this one 6/10 b4b-wise.

No wonder Jimmy Dyson's made his millions with so many gullible schmucks willing to stump-up big bucks for his overpriced Malaysian tat. Six minutes of battery life...what a joke!! :whistling:
