these seem to need a 3 hour charge to use them for approx. 3.5 minutes to 4 minutes use, then another 3 hour charge

:w00t: If this is true, then it is a waste of time and money!!!!

Quite a few reviewers on Amazon say 6-8 minutes for a 3 hour charge
6-8 minutes, :-( what a load of crap.
but isn't the idea to keep it charged, then you can nip out to give the car a quick whip round ? Plenty time to get the dust off the parcel shelf and the gravel from the footwells ! :)
don't like it one bit... not one bit.. I prefer the black and decker 12 volt one for £44 (+ quidco). Lasts a lot longer than the dyson and looks a lot better.
Fine if you were to keep this on charge in the garage. Certainly would not want it in my kitchen...what a contraption
good price if it's what your after - don't know why theres a cold vote
As far as I'm concerned I need a good 10-12mins to vaccum my car.... so that means at least 2 Dysons LOL.

Saw this on TV last night & thought what a great idea (not that it is a new idea) but crumbs one would expect something like 20+ mins from a 3hr charge! At least then you could give it a top up charge for it to last 5mins or so. Worthy of a cold vote for such a waste of money device. I bet it can't even be used with the charger unit attached.
 I did not vote cold, because I don't need one and it is a good deal if you want one.

Just giving my opinion on the product. Aesthetically it does not look like a handy portable vacum that I would want to leave about the house...just in case anyone felt inclined to do any cleaning without the fuss of having to use a plug :giggle:

House full of Kev & Perrys at the moment... :w00t: :-( :w00t:

Roll on back to schools / colleges on Monday...PHEW
Personally, I would vouch Dyson as the little devil hasnt let me down for the past 3 years and the suction is amazingly constant :)

The cheap handheld dustbuster I'd from tesco works for ~ 2-3 minutes continuously but that’s just a tenner investment. In principle, at the price tag of ~ £75, 3 mins (if it’s true) is mediocre value.
Not opposed to Dyson per say ... I actually have 1 & this "little" portable looks great but if you can only get 3 mins use for such a long wait of charge it is of limited use. I'd find it frustrating for it to die of power when I still needed it to know I'd have to wait a good few hrs before I could use it again.
Wouldn't be so bad if it came with an extra battery pack that could be simultaneously charged.

Hope this isn't a pet name for the missus :-D
