OK deal but won't do it for me. Call me biased or whatever, but Dyson vacs are way too overrated. I replaced an upright Dyson (basically was not doing what was supposed to as advertised) with an upright Hoover the One (what a difference in suction, etc.), and I have never looked back. As I recently put wooden flooring, I have been considering getting a new, cylinder-type vac. Coincidentially, for the past 30 minutes I have been browsing vac reviews and deals and the new Henry Extra @ £111.57 (direct from henryvacs) will be the one for me. Moreover, the cleaning company in my org have been using Henry for quite some time and swear by it.

I cant argue which is best for you but I know of no other vacuum cleaner company that will come to your house, replace a worn part, service the rest while he was there and then replace another part 'because it looks a bit iffy'. No charge...
We have had all kinds of cleaners some costing more but now this is all I will buy anyway.

Which magazines review of the Henry xtra.
Pros: Good on laminate. Excellent at getting into corners and along walls. Very long power cable. Quiet. Very easy to manoeuvre. Easy to empty. Large capacity
Cons: Average on floorboards and carpet. Poor at retaining allergens. Heavy
So im still searching for a good carpet vac.

We have had a Dyson for over four years and it has been used and battered around and it still is working like a power horse!

At my other place we have a Henry and that is also about 3-4 years old and that also is working very well, although the suction isnt as powerful as the Dyson

So all in all they have both been good for me when using them

I heard Miele was given the best review by Which a couple of years ago but havent had the chance to try one of them yet

£115 for this deal is not bad, the nearest price from a reputable company is around £140 so it is not cold from me but more luke warm...£100 including VAT would have been Hot!!

Jeeez you are hard to please! Keeping £25 in your pocket to spend is only luke warm? There are people around that work most of the day to have that in their pocket... oh well I tried :whistling:

I know how Dyson work which is why I wouldnt say they are bad, they are actually pretty good, I just love that my Vax pipe gets up my full staircase without any hassle, to be honest both companies are without a doubt some of the best in the market:thumbsup:

Good price for a dyson but I am finished with these having got a bissel pet eraser upright for £50. COmpletely destroys both the dysons I have owned which cost almost £500 total.

If you have dogs they only last a couple of years !
