Dyson vacuum cleaners are known for their high-quality design and excellent, long-lasting suction technology. The Dyson DC19 T2 Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner is light enough to carry, has wheels for easy movement and an onboard caddy containing brush, stair, crevice and Flat Out" floor tools.

As they're light and manoeuvrable, cylinder vacuums are ideal for stairs and those rooms that require many changes of direction. With 280 air watts of constant suction power, Dyson Root Cyclone Technology means there'll be no loss of suction as your vacuum ages and emits only clean exhaust air - a real bonus for allergy and asthma sufferers. All of Dyson's upright and cylinder vacuums are made from the toughest materials.

This vacuum does not require replacement bags, rather using a lifetime washable filter, which will save you money in the long run and is better for the environment. A quick-release button makes emptying the 2L canister hassle-free and minimises the release of dirt back into the room.

The Dyson DC19 T2 Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner comes with an operating manual and quick-start guide, and the parts and labour carry a 5-year guarantee.

I used to have the upright ones a few years ago then changed to another brand cylinder and got fed up paying for replacement bags, so thinking of going back to Dyson.

How do these compare to the Upright dyson? Other than price? reviews very good and great price for £129

Managed to get the DC19 original 18 months ago from Currys only cost £93 and it's a super hoover.

It's definitely worth the money, especially when your getting a 5 year guarantee as well.

Pedant alert...Dyson is not a brand of Hoover. Hoover is not a product, it is a manufacturer. "Was looking for a new dyson hoover (see OP) is like saying "was looking for a new Hitachi Sony" or "was looking for a new Nissan Peugeot". Chuckle.

[puts on flack jacket and takes cover]

Voted hot, BTW.

I think you'll find that flack means to serve as a publicist, I believe what you mean is a flak jacket. (_;)

I have an old Miele 'Hoover' that has a cracked pipe, but sucks as good as it did 8 years ago. I'm considering replacing it with this Dyson are they excellent?
