I have just seen the most amazing deal (and i'm kicking myself cos i bought a dyson dc25 blitz it from currys recently for £199 and i thought that was a great deal).

If you go to the additions direct website (and you are a new customer or know someone who could be a new customer) you can receive 30% of anything. The code you need is XX057 and this is open to any new customer.

I found a dyson dc25 animal (normally £299) and it has been reduced to £239. If you type in the promotional code the price comes down to £167 plus £3.95 delivery.

Plus you get 8% with quidco, so you could only pay around £150 in total!!

One thing tho!! the 30% offer ends on 30/4/09.

Happy shopping.

PS- would appreciate some feedback to see if i got my sums right.

Umm, couple of things:

1) Deal price shouldn't include Quidco as not everyone is on their service and it's not guaranteed to track.

2) While this is a decent deal it's yet ANOTHER additions direct 30% voucher. I know this is your first post but there's been an absolute glut of these things and all the deal really is is 'find product x and take 30% off it' which makes pretty much all of these deals identical.

not being funny but hoovers suck

Hiya, yes my first time here. Just thought this might interest someone.

Even if you take of the quidco it still works out at £167 + £3.95 delvery.

I challenge you to find a Dyson DC25 animal anywhere near that cheap.

Pay an extra £10 and get a Henry Hound. Better than any other "animal friendly" vaccum cleaner. All commercial cleaning companies using Henry.

Good deal and welcome

Sound advice. Dysons are overpriced gimmicks, I've got one. :(

In response to the earlier comment about dysons benig overpriced gymmicks. well, i suppose everyone has there own way of looking at things but i just bought one and i think it is real quality. if you check out various reviews (including impartial websites such as Whcih Magazine) dysons DC25's consistently is voted the best.

I agree they are pricey, so that is why this offer looks so good!

I have just copied and pasted directly from the terms and conditions of the voucher code on their website. Please don't tell people to get their fatcs right, it is pretty rude.

Hi, sorry didnt mean to be rude. I just thought i would be helpul by posting this offer and all i seem to get is negative feedback. it does make me wonder why bother?

Anyway, i've just checked the terms annd conditions and it would appear that additions have changed them today. the mention of electrical goods is new and the offer has been extended to june. As i said, i purchased panasonic tv through them and got the 30% discount and received the TV this morning.

I dont know what they are playing at but looks like they have moved the goalposts.
