#9

#10
I am tempted to go for the shark at the same kind of price and see if they are better than Dyson

http://www.energyplusargos.co.uk/

Everything on the site has 5% discount, but if you buy credit on their energyplus argos card you get 10% off (ie £1 cost 90p), Ive just added credit this minute to mine, got to usually wait up to 48 hours for the credit to be on the card though.

I've got the DC35 for around the kitchen and generally downstairs, dont use it to do the whole house as battery only lasts 15 mins.

it's £179.99 in Currys. dc28c is the same price @£179.99 if anyone prefers cylinder.

reserved at local argos, with the hope that they'll offer me a dc40. Can anyone tell me whether, in the previous 'offer', people were offered dc40 animal or dc40 multi-floor?
#21
I bought the DC25 Animal last year for around £230 and that was a good deal at the time. As far as I'm aware, the only difference is the Animal has one or two extra attachments. Great vacuum cleaner.

Reserved and handed the dc40 multi floor. The code on the sticker on the box referred to the dc25 catalogue number, so it looks like they are being substituted pre store delivery maybe?

This has happened previously.

Also got dc40 but would agree this is not a store issue as the product is ticketed with a argos code of a dc25 so either its a mis coding error or good substitute. I would have thought a mis code due to the price difference.
#27
Does yhis come with 5 years? Also is the model worth buying? Forget the price

Have reserved to collect tomorrow. If I'm not lucky enough to get the dc40 is it worth keeping the dc25 or returning? Thank you

The DC40 is newer tech, easier to move around, lighter, larger dust capacity, auto suction bar etc

yes all dysons come with 5 yr warranty parts and labour. The DC40 is a £300 model, for £179 it's a steal. Just tried mine tonight, the difference between my old DC14 and this new is like night and day

Look at the comment kvsingh made about receiving the DC40
