MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This has been on offer twice before over the last year or so. However, this has been the cheapest price for this particular model of Dyson, which is unique to Comet.

It is the same as the Dyson DC25 Animal, but comes with extra tools.

"EXCLUSIVE TO COMET. Dyson DC25 Overdrive includes 3 free tools for all-round cleaning and Mini turbine head for pet hair pick-up, Stubborn dirt brush for dried-in dirt and Soft dusting brush for gentle dusting worth £53.95. It uses Ball technology for easy steering. With patented Root Cyclone technology there are no extra bags or filters to buy. FREE 5 YEAR GUARANTEE"

*** UPDATE: CHEAPER THAN CURRYS WHO ARE OFFERING THE DC25 ANIMAL FOR £199. THE DC25 OVERDRIVE FROM COMET IS £2 BUT COMES WITH EXTRA TOOLS TOO!

Use voucher code REVIEW5 to get 5% off - it works for delivery and store collection options bringing the total to £187.15. And, go via Quidco/ TCB for cashback.

Those companies are owned by KESA who in turn own Comet. They too have reduced their prices today.

3% cashback at quidco - http://www.quidco.com/comet/

I've reserved one. I'm not 100% sure I'll buy it as £200 seems a lot of money for a vacuum cleaner.

I'm just back with my new Dyson and managed to get it for £187.15 by using the voucher code REVIEW5. The code works for delivery and store collection options. I also ordered via TCB for 4% cashback.

I can't find anywhere to put the code when I go through the reserve or buy option when I try to collect from store! Still tempting at £197 though.

COLLECT FROM STORE button takes you to screen headed BASKET. Promotion code can be entered at top of screen (above the item being reserved).

I couldn't find it a first either; maybe we're not supposed to find the box so that we end up paying full price?
#16
For anyone who can't find the box to enter the promo code, see this thread.

I hope everyone is enjoying vacuuming with their new Dyson's!

Yes this is still very expensive.

Does this shampoo the carpet? or does it just have a good suction to pick up "animal" hair or similar deep dirt?

I'm sure this deal will get even hotter if you change to the price in the title to "£187.15 delivered".

Its a good price for a dc25 id be taking it up but i bough one a year ago and its one of those hoovers you love or hate...Well after using it i love it, great suction , easy to use and does a great job :) we did try a dc 14 for a week and you can tell the diffrence it was hard work and heavy , If you not tried a dc 25 go and have a play :)

Not as good as a kirby, but looks the part

Top find, been debating a Dyson for a couple of months now. H&R added.

Picking mine up tomorrow for £168.30 having gone through the Wife's Companies Discount Scheme, which gives a further 10% discount, had to use her payroll number to confirm employee & address, plus QuidCo has tracked at £5.61 so £162.69 all in. :-D
#30
Got one today.. love it :D
#31
H & R added. Thanks for the heads up.
#32
Thanks... been thinking of getting the "animal" version for a while.... this seems much better if it is cheaper and you get extras too!!
H&R added

I've ordered for store pickup as apparently 3% quidco will work with store pickup... anyone found that that really is the case? How quickly does it track!?

Thanks,
#33
Mine tracked with a couple of hours on topcashback for home delivery

Had a couple of Dysons in last 10 years the last one still going after 5 years although is a little worn now and the plastic cyclone with handle is very brittle the plastic handle. Still I use it for car now

Ordered at £187 - thanks a lot, was looking for one of these... :)
#35
Just going to pick it up now - thanks OP H&R added

Just got back from picking mine up, built it and tested it. First impressions well impressed. Wife says romance isn't dead and she is made up with her new Dyson ;-)

Surprised how easy the overall process was, tracked through QuidCo, the reservation and I purchased an SMS Voucher through Wife's works. So walked in quoted 2 Numbers, paid 15p and left with the Dyson all with 5 minutes :-D

Thanks again OP

Do you have another name for a 'Stanley Knife' then? If it's not an official Stanley brand knife? A hoover is a hoover to everyone now, it doesn't have to be a Hoover brand vacuum cleaner to be called that.

Great find!

Lost out on one ordered from CDiscount (but got money back) and been waiting to find another DC25 Animal. Opening post says this is the same so reserved from my local and will collect later. :-D

am very tempted as my grandma has asked me to find her one with a ball in it

Thanks for the heads up - I been meaning to look at my work discount but thought it was just the same as Quidco. I did not realise there was extra off like the 10% you mentioned. Just off to collect mine now!
