I just looked on amazon to see the reviews and most people give it 5 out of 5 stars

The Ball Dyson's are awesome, so easy to get in every nook and crany.

Bought 2 recently (one for a friend), honestly, they are fantastic.

I nearly bought a ball one last month with a deal posted on HUKD but a few folk jumped in saying the dust container was small, cable was not very long, not as powerful as other dyson's they previously had etc.

Not really up for a debate just passing on other's comments.

Good scores http://www.reevoo.com/reviews/mpn/dyson/ball_dc24_all_floor_cleaner#review_634857 (not quite 5/5) but did make me think twice. Hope it helps someone.

We recently had our Dyson DC07 serviced after 5 years and asked the engineer which of the Dysons he would recommend. He said he has the DC07 and would always recommend that one as being one of the best. The only Dyson that he would not recommend was the DC27 - "too fiddley" when asked why. Hope this is of help.

After having 2 747's (they are so noisy) for 10 year we changed for a phillips.

http://www.barmey.co.uk/ssl/productv/Philips-FC9160-Performer-Bagged-Cylinder-2200w.asp

got it for £39.00 when its was on special at cdiscount.

to be honest its so quiet. light and small, easier to move about has adjustable suck, on the lowest setting its hard to tell if its on from another room, also its not at all heavy as you only use the hose and its alot easier to move around and quicker as you don't have to wield the whole machine around. Sure it has bags but the dyson need emptying and there are bag less models
available.

Its so easy to carry as its small and light, much better for the car, it will fit on the back seat or in the boot to make cleaning the car ever quicker.

It also stores the cable, has a 2200w motor with 500w of suction and is as good if not better then our dyson dc14 for suction, i think it it, things have moved on in the world of vacuums.

The Dyson has been retired, I would take a look at the market place before purchasing another dyson...

Just picked up my one today after reserving it yesterday and handed over the print off
and recieved my £50.00 voucher valid for 3 years the assistant said :-)

I have had my old DC07 for 11 years now without any probs , the best hoover I have ever had and i just hope this one lives up to it's Predecessor.

I tried out the DC24 Ball one last week but found the bit you have to use your foot with to tilt it back looked very flimbsy and would deffo not last the 5 years and with only half the size of collection bowl as this one and it only had 650 Watts motor compared to the 1300 of the DC27 , that's what won it for me.

Great Deal

Picked mine up yesterday. The cashier looked at the printed out voucher funny. She admitted she didn't know if she processed it correctly. So instead of getting a £50 Argos voucher, she actually knocked £50 off the price. So i got it for £149.99!!!:-D

AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

My diary mis-management has just cost me £50! I forgot it ended yesterday!

I wrote a reasonably reply about what head office said about when the next offer was...and my PC crashed as I was posting it. Haven't got the heart to type it all again - you'll have to phone them yourselves!
