Sorry just read it properly.
#6
So I take it this is not a subsitute for an extention lead and hoover outside to clean the car?

That is why I would not even pay £50 for it...... 3mins is nothing.....

Get 6 minutes out of mine. Don't regret buying one of these at all perfect for the stairs or just running round sucking up the second dog that keeps appearing on our floors :-D

Totally exaggerated.
Can't let a bit of truth get in the way of a good old fashioned tale :-(

6 minutes

I would like one that lasts longer, but that's for multiple uses - if you are using a portable vacuum for more than a couple of minutes constantly on, then it's not what it is for at all, it is for picking up a few bits, not for deep cleaning an Airport lounge!

This might be available in some stores. My local doesn't stock Dysons but had 20% off all hoovers.

Had one for a year or so ... pile of cack

Started off only lasting 3 mins (yes I thought it would be good for my car too!) now the Battery cuts out every few seconds so you keep having to let go of the trigger then reapplying it to start it again.

Might as well buy a cheap version as it'll do just as well imo. :x

+1. Ideal for quick "splash 'n' dash" before guests. Never had any trouble with ours.

If you want it for anything that will take longer than 6 mins then forget it, Waste of money in my opinion. We use ours for the stairs and quick bits and thats it.

Gimic released for the James Dyson lovers,

Utter pointless, those that brought one well done for lining his exagerated coffers.

Think about it 3.5 hours charge for 6 minutes, its getting 40 air watts through such a small suction inlet thats not hard tbh and who wants 40 air watts, hand helds are for light use for surface presentration cleaning 12 air watts is more than enough.

Turn it on and 28 watts isnt going to be needed if your just puting it against a few crumbs or pet hairs, waste of money, electric.

I would love to see the battery degregtion charts, after 6 months bet you lose half and your down to 3 minutes for 3.5 hours and its a new battey in a year.

Dyson CR01 & CR02 Washing machines, expensive, useless, didnt clean properly, wripped cloths and most parts are already obsolete for them.

Dyson hand dryer another gimic, they get filthy unless you properly clean then all the time, the filter and seals are rubbish. Loved it when World of dryers brough there hand dryer out and it pummeled the Dyson on performance, consumtsion and space and half the price.

The Dyson fans the next thing, £200 for another gimic and its bloody loud.

Dont get me Wrong Dyson hasnt all been bad but anything past the DC07 has been a waste of time.

Bought ours Christmas 09. No discernible battery degradation so far. Previous cheap Aldi version died after about 12 months. Prior to that we had a Philips Dustbuster which lasted a good few years, but would clog very easily and quickly. The wife is happy, and you can't put a price on that . :-D
