FAKE
There isn't a vacuum for that price on John Lewis and there isn't a "DC34 Animal" on there either. Only a "DC34"
#4
A lot of reviews on these handhelds say they're excellent for freshening up but still use a proper vacuum about once a week.

I meant to say there isn't a Dyson for that price on there.

How are the Admin Staff allowing the same One Deal to run Twice simultaneously together within a Split Second of each other .....

I have an advanced email from John Lewis showing advanced notifications on items going on sale. Please believe me that this listing is not fake. I have taken a screen shot of the email but I have no idea how to upload it to here.
#8
I don't get it. I've uploaded several deals which contained a link to the actual product which were rejected by HUKD yet you're able to upload one which cannot be easily verified.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and apologise for being so hasty. Sorry.

No need to apologise! Just thought that this seemed like a good deal. I have been waiting for this or the the normal DC 34 to drop in price since Christmas. I should have bought the standard DC34 posted on Boxing Day for £99.99........it went hot!!

Dc34 in yellow on their website, currently £20 more, need to wait till tomorrow.

Oh no...... It is the animal purple one..... Sorry op for the error, it wad too late, not all brain cells functioning!!!

Edited By: thepharmacist on Jun 25, 2014 05:30: My mistake!

I like to vote hot on "will they, won't they" deals. You can't beat the potential, classic wild goose chase! ;-)

#14
I hope the severed hand is optional.

What else is on sale?

I can agree with this I've got the email too! Not amazing deals think this one is the only 'okay' one
#18

Thank you for the link to proof!, note my post was wrong as the yellow one that I said was on the JL website was not the animal version which you had posted!, will see if I can edit my original post.

Hot deal from me....l this evening!

It's the best price around, but only £30 cheaper than from Dyson itself which is £179.99

Dyson Link

If you scroll to the bottom of your link it shows you the same DC34 as in the picture above listed as £190. Must be 2 types of Animal model.

I don't see how these Dyson handhelds get such glowing reviews. We've had one for a while, it's ok but I wouldn't say much better than any other £40-50 portable handheld vacuum.
#22
Is this in store or online?

well done. i really appreciate the fact that you are apologising.... unlike others who just make comments and then disappear....so hats off to you

What is the usage time from a full charge? Is it 6 minutes?

It's much cheaper on purewell...£137 for the yellow-grey one

Dyson - 'designer' vacuum cleaners for the gullible.

Go ahead if you want want one but don't pretend it's any kind of 'deal'.

Ours has worked quite well for us. Bought in 2010 and still going strong. Before that we had many Black and Decker dustbusters at £30-50 a pop which had to be replaced every year or so because the battery couldn't hold as much charge (and couldn't be swapped out).

£169.95 at John Lewis, but not the animal, which must be a special purchase item,as it's not currently listed

The Dc34 and DC34 animal are different hence different prices, I don't know why people are posting links to that it's like comparing an audi A4 SE to an A4 Sline
#32
Would be dead handy for the car.

I was under the impression from the Dyson site they are identical devices, the only difference is you get the animal attachment with the Animal Model?

Seems to me you'd be better off getting the DC34 Animal Exclusive Direct from Dyson as you get the free £56 worth of tools with it as well (extension hoses and mounting kit) for £179.99 with free delivery!

Feeble

8 mins isn't it
#35
Was considering the DC58 Animal but recently bought a DC44 instead and though still early days, I've been happy with it so far.

The detachable wand is useful especially if you want to clean the floor. Just wondering who would want to buy a cordless Dyson without the wand. That said, buying an equivalent Dyson without the wand is around £100 cheaper. :p

Bought a Dyson way back in the late 90's but since making his fortune in Britain then moving his production to Malaysia Mr Dyson can kiss my klinkers.

Who'd pay his extortionate prices for technology that has now been copied by all his competitors?? Baffling
