Have you seen the new Vax blade.32V 45 minutes run time.Reviews are amazing and only Argos are selling this new product at the moment.£169.Looks very interesting and will surely give Dyson a run for your money.

Got a Vax SlimVac yesterday and it's going back. The 'power head' is a design disgrace - there's nothing at the front of the head to support it. No small wheels or brush bar - just plastic scraping along the floor.

If the Blade shares any of those design characteristics I'd avoid it...
p.s. I'm still in the market for something similar if anyone has some advice/experience?

I thought the Dyson looked a bit more like this?

Then there's the Vax...

Yes i see what you mean.I shall be keeping a eye open before buying. It does seem this new Vax is a lot more powerful than the Dyson cordless ,even the V8.

If the head wasn't so terrible I'd keep it as otherwise it seems pretty good. No way it's worth full retail mind you. RRP is about £280 - I paid £90 for the Total Home version.

As far as I know it's only 20 mins unless you use a non motorised head so about the same as dyson

Just noticed, most of these Argos reviews are 'Argos Tester Community' submissions. With a comment 'received Free Product'. Not questioning their integrity but hardly a representative cross section of users.

Bought this Thursday night and it arrived this morning. Very pleased with it, works really well.
