After much deliberation my wife had settled on this vacuum as our DC07 has seen better days.
I've found and ordered this deal from the Dyson eBay outlet as it seems the best value for money I can find.
It comes refurbished as new and includes all of the additional tools such as the tangle free turbine tool.
The cheapest I can currently find is the deal that was posted on here for £284.99 new.

For those voting cold, could you please link me to a better value DC75 animal and I'll cancel my order and get that one.

Maybe they are voting cold because it's a dyson, when our current dyson dies I won't be buying another build quality is terrible compared to the earlier models.

Was waiting for the get a vax or shark comments to arrive and booom. Sharks are Ugly cheap american tat and vax have no customer service to speak of.Had a faulty battery on my dyson phoned them and 2 days later a replacement battery for free.Pay for what you get with dyson decent aftercare. As for the deal I prefer the v8 handheld just for convenience but this is still a decent price.

Yeah I was expecting the Vax crew to come along too! I've had different types of Vacuums over the years and nothing comes close to a Dyson in my opinion (and many others).
With regards to the handheld, we have a DC59 too for spot cleaning etc but it doesn't compare to a mains powered machine for doing the regular vacuuming.

You voted cold because the product isn't to your liking? That's not what Hotukdeals is about, because your opinion differs from others that doesn't mean it isn't a good deal for those who want a Dyson.
I bet you're the type of person who votes cold on Apple deals too aren't you?

Dadofdaisy you could try asking in your deal post for people to vote on the basis of whether this is a good price for this item or whether it can be found cheaper still elsewhere. As I get the feeling if people have a however well founded prejudice against the product or the manufacturer, they will vote on that history rather than whether the price for the item is the cheapest

I understand what you're saying but as I've said previously, the whole purpose of this site is to share a deal for a product.
This is by far the cheapest you can get for this Dyson, how is that not a good deal for those who want one?
To be honest the ignorance of some people astounds me, if something isn't to your liking; fair enough but that doesn't mean other people have to agree with your sentiments.
I see the exact same thing happen with other brands such as Apple.
Anyway, if it helps even 1 person I'll be happy!

Meant to be crap on hard floors. They still haven't improved since the DC41. I'll keep hold of my older one for a while I think.

Dunno about Shark hoovers but have a shark oscillating hard floor cleaner/polisher which is mediocre at best. The last vax hoover we had was absolute junk. If numatic (henry) made an upright then I'd probably buy that. Dyson aren't just good marketeers they innovate and others copy so I have a lot of time for them despite their decision to shift manufacturing abroad. Who else makes a vacuum like this with no bags OR filters

Fantastic Vacuum cleaner , suction is far far better than my previous dyson dc27.

Paid £184 for mine from Dyson Ebay Outlet when they had an offer on it back in November.
The first one I was sent smelt of wet dog , the second made a strange noise when it was powered off so eventually I was sent a brand spanking new one , which of course automatically gets a 5 year warranty ...... worked out really well in the end and really really pleased with ours , I must say the performance is fantastic on our carpets / rugs.
We do have a lot of laminate floor but we brush and mop this so hard floor performance doesn't make any difference to us anyway ;)
