Hi,

Need a Dyson cordless, been looking for one from black Friday but the deals were not the best. Any recommendations anyone.

It also states

Up to 20 minutes run time with powerful suction just like an uprightMore brush bar power than V6 Fluffy & V6 AnimalConverts to a handheld vacuum cleaner for quick cleaning.

Update: Considering getting the V8 model, battery states twice as long butprice is stopping me!

Thanks

Be advised that it states up to 20 minutes run time, mine does more like 10,then another hour plus to charge. Always seems to run out half way through the task, phoned dyson helpline no joy

Dyson resale value is terrible too, I bought a dc50 for 250 last year, and found it to be largely useless and impractical, wanted to flock it on ebay and Gumtree for less than half price and guess what no one wants it even tho it still has warranty till 2020 and have not been used much (very clean). Guess most people know it's a waste of money. So 250 for this I would be very careful… when there are alternatives that have the same design.

Sounds broken or you're on high power mode all the time. Mine runs for ages, I can do the whole house on a charge. Good deal OP!

Probably because people want the hand helds rather than the uprights these days

God knows, there's so many variants.

Got mine for £189 (exchanged a faulty refurb for a new one) in the summer. Runtime is approx 15 mins, less if you use the max mode although I've never needed it. As you plug it back in after use I can't tell how long it takes to charge. I would say, not worth the full price, but if you can get it on offer like this and you don't need it to replace the work of a normal vac (which it won't) then go for it. Also, the dirt bin is small so fills quickly (partly due to how much dust it picks up tbh) and isn't as effortless to dispose of as the adverts suggest.

thanks everyone for your comments, now thinking of getting a V8 model because the battery life states last for 40 minutes but the price is stopping me. Waiting for sales and a decent offer to come through.
