The evidence is clear that they contain many different toxins. Separate research on the effect of these is well known and has been established for decades so it's safe to say that these are not completely safe.
It is a good thing if they're safer but too many people think they're risk-free and then have no intention of giving up e-cigarettes once they're on to them from real cigarettes.

"Safe," "risk-free"... You realise you're the only contributor who's used these words?
In two years of vaping, I've never heard a manufacturer, retailer or even vaper make these claims.

But I'm obviously biased.
Why not seek the opinion of the manager of Stop Smoking Services for Leicester City Council? - "Scaremongering about e-cigarettes is not in the best interest of patients".
Mine arrived today, it doesn't come with a charger so pretty pointless. As far as the taste, bloody awful and hardly got any vape from it (maybe needs a charge but pointless to try this for free of you need to buy the charger). It went in the bin after I felt a loud popping when I inhaled it deeply though it actually made me jump.
Got a tracking email from Royal Mail, so should get soon. Coolio!

good gateway for those looking to get into real smoking too :)
Despite looking a bit similar to smoking tobacco, vaping is very different - almost every study has found that the number of regular vapers who didn't start as smokers is absolutely negligible.
And given that (according to ASH) over 2.5 million ex-smokers are now vaping, the gateway seems to be only away from tobacco!
Still far too many toxins in these.
Only if you read the daily mail....
It's a shame you had to post such an ill-informed comment about me and my statement. I know this from research in peer-reviewed scientific journals. I've known it for months, the evidence has been there for longer. Thankfully people are starting to cotton on to this and more studies are being done backing up the findings of the originals. I just hope there's nobody unfortunate enough out there to be duped by you if you're going around telling people these are completely safe.
yes because your previous comment was very informative wasn't it ...(_;)....
At which point did i state they were completely safe again?? I can't see that it my previous comment??
Nope they aren't completely safe not at all...but whatever evidence there is that they are safe or otherwise is still very uncertain due to the lack of long term research...what every one of your studies will tell you though is that they are FAR safer than normal cigarette smoking which surely is a good thing is it not?

Well I claimed they weren't safe by implication as I stated they contained many toxins. You stated "Only if you read the daily mail" which, although it's a fine paper, I'm assuming you meant as a witty comment intended to imply that they don't actually.

here £32 inc del everything you need to start properly plus two bottles of red label juice which you can pick flavour and strength, use code TWX51, TW may not be the best for juice but its a good start. I bought this as an Xmas prezzie to me for work lol http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/variable-voltage-electronic-cigarettes/variable-voltage-kits/curve/curve-e-cigarette-kit-and-e-liquid-product.html
That's a good deal for £32.
Trouble is when people want to start out vaping, they will consider this too much money, so will buy the cheaper crap, then realise what crap it really is and buy more expensive stuff, see the limitations of that and then buy a vv/vw mod with a tank similar or the same as is in your link.... when they could have just bought that in the first place.
So what would need frequent changing with that kit? Just the atomizer? And roughly how long would the battery last? I don't mean the charge, I mean how many charges? (sorry, that question was meant for deaky)
Only thing needing frequent changing is the coil in the tank, shop around for the best prices on them....... The BVC ones in my Aspire K1 I can get for £1.40 each and they last about 3 weeks each.
Batteries generally have about 300 charges, but can start loosing capacity a bit sooner..... you should get at least a year out of them anyway.
The mod battery in this kit is just a differently branded Eleaf Istick, but same spec at 2200mAh, same as mine and I get 2 days use after each charge with using 3ml of juice a day.
I've just ordered a spare Istick mod, a non branded one, which you can get from Fasttech (China) for £17.45...... which is a great price because Branded Eleaf Isticks are at least £30 each from UK sellers. Having a spare is handy because you have a 2.5 hour charge time, although it is a passthrough mod, which means it can still be used to vape with while charging. Ego batteries cant be used to vape while charging.
the problem with the unbranded istick that you mentioned is that its basically a knock off which i advise people to stay away from. these devices contain high power batteries which can be dangerous and safety is not a concern to the people that make the knock offs. they will cut corners where possible and put crap electronics in unlike the real deal
Just filled a tankfull of this 'Virginia Tobacco' and its not bad at all...... finally found a tobacco flavoured juice that I can vape. I'll deffo be getting some more of this.
A million times better than the 'British Tobacco' juice I got from 'onepoundliquid'..... that was truly disgusting.

My Aspire K1 will crackle as its heating the juice, but it doesn't gurgle.
But as long as your tank is vaping ok for you, and you're not getting any unburnt juice in your mouth then it sounds ok.

It might actually be more of a crackle than a gurgle now you mention it X)

Yeah, I'm not getting burnt or raw juice in my mouth so I'm sure it's fine.

Cheers Jeff

But as long as your tank is vaping ok for you, and you're not getting any unburnt juice in your mouth then it sounds ok.
Also the tank could be flooding the coil, in which case its a badly designed tank....... some tanks are better than others, some tanks go through juice quicker than others and some tanks kill their coils faster than others..... its a learning curve to find out what tank suits you.

@SHOWMAN36 'one step at a time',but what I have done is cut out all the other dangerous chemicals contained in cigarettes. now I'm just reducing the nic level in the liquids.

oh, not to mention saving loads of cash. :-)
provari and a genesis atomiser

thank me later.

So Funny, can't help but laugh. People vote it cold cos they see the word cigarette in the title. They're completely ignorant of the product and how good the deal is! Pathetic really. These e-cigs get people OFF smoking!

Pack for pack comparison, these are very expensive.
I've just given up (for one week) and am using these:

http://www.treatyourskin.com/nicolites-disposable-electronic-cigarette/#fo_c=61&fo_k=8138ec11524846b8b066afa621bfe565&fo_s=gshuk

Much more cost effective and disposable, so you don't need to mess around with charging. Just keep a spare on you in case it runs out. ;)
iammunabhai
I agree with adr0ck. Elites don't produce enough 'smoke' and their claims of one cartridge = 20 cigs is not quite correct, imo. I still have their stuff but don't use them often.

I use the ENIC systems which adr0ck has given links to. they are awesome.... I've gone from 25 cigs /day to 0. look up the Kangertech S1 starter kit on http://www.health-e-vape. co.uk it's my favorite.

No - all you've done is swap your addiction from nicotine from cigarettes to nicotine from another source - have you beaten the addiction - no way.
