I think this could be a scorcher. Although does not say what it comes with... Hmm!

The retail price stated is the price of the full product with heart rate monitor, 2x accelerometers and elasticated strap. So I think you can safely assume this is that product. HOT!

Looks a good deal but there are LOTS of rumours that Blockbuster will be not around much longer as likely to be filing for bankrupcy in the next few weeks.

Not looking good for a November Delivery!

Yes I heard about that. Although apparently that is Blockbuster US of which might be looking to file for bankruptcy. Blockbuster UK is in very "good shape" apparently ;).

Worth a punt, thanks!

Why would it cost £79.99 in the first place, I bought the first version for £30, I don't think they should be allowed to charge £50 extra just because it comes with a heart monitor.
#12
PS3 version comes with an additional sensor? So you don't have to use any controllers? WTF? Why not do the same with the Wii version?
#13
Does anyone know why the 'Buy' button disappears on Blockbuster's site? It was there at first, no it's gone again. I keep manually searching or using the links but no luck

Think its sold out

Just received the cancellation email:

Dear #####

I am writing to you with regards to your order for "EA Sports Active 2" on the XBOX 360.

It is with regret that i must advise, that although you had ordered the "Solus Edition" of the game, we are no longer going to be able to supply this particular version.

Unfortunately this is out of our control. The studios have stipulated that they will now only be supplying the complete version with game and accessories and the Solus edition will not be available to purchase.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience with regards to your order. However, in light of the situation, we are happy to propose the following.

Your existing order will automatically be cancelled as we are no longer able to honour this. If you would like to order the full version, at £69.99, we will send you a voucher code beforehand to use at the checkout stage which will give you £10 off of your order.

I apologise again for any inconvenience caused, and i hope that you will find our offer of interest. Please let me know asap so that a code can be sent to you for redemption online.

Kind regards,

Let me know if you can anywhere.

I think they can just turn round and say that the contract isn't formed until point of dispatch

I got the same email - I have replied stating that I did not order the Solus edition, nor the XBOX 360 version as stated in the email, but rather the standard edition for the Wii which is showing as in stock on their website albeit at £69.99.

It does seem like a poor attempt to wriggle out of what may have been a misprice, but Robot1000 is right - if they haven't taken the money then legally they are in the clear, even if it is morally dodgy.
