EA Promo weekend with 60-85% discounts on some good old retro games like:

Theme Hospital
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Sim City 2000
Theme Park
Populous (various editions)

(all down to £1.89)

Some slightly newer ones including Medal of Honor (now £3.09), Nox (now £1.89) and Sim City 4 (now £6.19)

All are DRM free and have a money back guarantee if games dont work etc.

Some good old titles on there (see link for full list), they might not have the graphics of No Man's Sky...(no comment) but they are very playable for the price of a coffee!

Absolute hogwash...Im playing on a 34" 4K screen with a GTX1080 and i7 6700k why the heck would I play that pixel rubbish now when there is so much more to choose from nowadays. You 2 above must have IBM's/Amstrads or even a Sinclair. I could go on...

Because they are fun?

Be wary of the GOG money back guarantee. You have to jump through hoops if you buy something and your rig doesn't match the stated requirements. It's not an automated refund like Steam. It's a process of support emails. It may not be worth your time if you just want to game the system to get some free titles.
