    same for us

explains why it's cheaper, hardly a deal then if it's off-peak ... same would apply to any holiday

Is £398 not still cheap? I honestly don't know because it has been a while since we last went, but it was £700 for 3 nights for 2 of us then, including Eurostar and at the New York, New York. £398 for 4 seems like a deal to me.

Yes it seems fairly cheap, but what I'm saying is that it's cheaper because the kids should be in school (or mine should, and sjaddy posted the same above).

If parents are going to take their kids out of school, then you could post deals for any time of the year during term time and it will obviously be cheaper than school holidays.

£418 Friday 15th Feb for 4 nights, good price although you'll need about £2000 spending money over 4 days! Rip off prices for food etc.

I agree that children should be in school which is why I'm taking mine in the half term holiday.

what local council do you come under? as our kids half-term holiday is definitely the week after:

    3 September 2012 to 26 October 2012 (40 days)
    5 November 2012 to 21 December 2012 (35 days)
    7 January 2013 to 15 February 2013 (30 days)
    25 February 2013 to 28 March 2013 (24 days)
    15 April 2013 to 24 May 2013 (29 days)
    3 June 2013 to 23 July 2013 (37 days)

i like stupid statements like this,as it would cost me £8000 to go to florida, but only £2000 to paris
it would only make sense if it cost the same

By any measure this is an extremely good deal. Even the higher price of £504 for five days and four nights during holidays is still very good, cheaper than 5-day park tickets for two adults and two children. I can't understand why there's this quibbling about it?! Thank you for posting this, and don't be put off posting in future.

My sentiments exactly. I think the reference to Florida is just for attention. I dont think I'll bother with either as I'm taking my kids on Holland America ms Amsterdam 2013 World Cruise - sailing January 5th, 2013, for 115 days. Just for ref, I'm going for the SA Cat Deluxe Verandah Suite at $89,900 a pop.

Thanks OP, my daughter is also on half term 11-15th feb (wiltshire) so this is a great price £801 for 2 adults 1 child, 4 nights, 5 days and train fares!

Currently saving for Florida next year, otherwise I would be very tempted by this! Might try to go for 2014 :)
