I didn't pay that much through one of their pop up clinics based in tamworth earlier in the year. It cost me £15 per dog for booster and kennel cough. It is still worth pointing out to people to get this done even at these lower than standard prices with the amount of parvo virus cases there have been of late.
Why is Burton more than 20% more expensive?

Cheap! vetinary pet services via "easicare" @ 6 main locations currently (+ additional vaccination centres)

Have just found out about this group from a local animal charity.. Note I am not affiliated in any way, merely passing information on & having looked at costs via their site am pretty impressed!

I used them a few times in kettering, great place and great value
When we have the occasional litter of pups we'll use the 4 weeks free via petplan BUT impress upon buyers to check out other providers as pet plan have an extremely bad diminishing return as your dog gets older (from around 6yrs as I recall) whereby for anything costly it hardly made sense to be with them in terms of what's paid out versus overall bill.
Whereas if your animal is clear of a problem for a good while (having received treatment) Animal friends were happy enough to lift any restriction (ill health) from several years ago & another insurer & provide cover in the event of the problem returning.

Coupled with many bills sorted out within 10-14 days, significantly lower premiums, their charity provisions, & overall attitude, we would find ourselves speaking to the MD & more, their coverage on radio4 it was clear they weren't just another fleece you & run company.
I'm sure whilst they don't get it right every time (only human) they are worth comparing & indeed talking to as a potential provider for animal cover.

As I recall the wife saying, (when we switched) we were paying as much for one dog on pet plan as we were for 2.5 dogs covered by Animal friends & the premiums were not ramped up but stayed sensible.

But I digress, this thread is really about Easicare, as ever I merely hope some folk are able to benefit from it,
I reap the benefit from others thoughtfulness in posting up a deal & am happy when I can do the same.

@lindakaplan , @useless, ..folks if not already with animal friends I'd look at them for pet insurance, the only decent folk in the market! (don't geyt me started regards the mercenary attitude of "bloody Pet-plan"

Thanks for the info. Will go and take a look. :-)
Mr Gus as you are such an expert on pet services its a real shame you cant spell, to help you out the word is veterinary.

Glad to see you maintaining your position as HUKD no1 spelling pedant X) I was in a hurry due to the copious amount of chopping to & fro to copy & paste, incidentally their site isn't word perfect I saw a couple of erroneous spellings you may wish to amuse yourself with.

My screen was hanging & lagging (out here in the slow net speed countryside) so I didn't check, besides we have a vet in our family & therefore tend to spell it colloquially just for the hell of it, & as I've just finished a discworld book whereby the ruler is referred to as vetinari (& have been wondering as to the correct pronunciation which may have also resulted in the not quite full on use of my heavily injured brain.

Not that I honestly give a f***
The point is to try & save a few folk some money on a very expensive service on essential care of their animals & share it with folk who visit this site & the likes of Martin Lewis MSE who may know someone who will find it more use than a prawn deal at Morrisons.

Very helpful, I’m sure everyone is grateful (_;)

As they will be for your comment about animal friends. Believe me they are not always the fantastic company you are making them out to be. In my experience pet plan have been faultless after them ;)

To Mr Gus NOT you :)

Touché ;)
