From 8 April 11 to 9 May 11, car rental from £11.99 a day if you hire more than 4 days and less than 17 days, so a minimum of £47.95 for the four days. I wanted to rent a car for a week that overlapped the start date and realised it would be cheaper to hire for the first couple of days at regular rate and then hire again at the Easter special discount rate. It's only a Ford Ka, but it's the new one and quite nice to drive.

Holiday Rates From £11.99 Per Day.
Offer subject to availability, advance reservation recommended. Offer valid at participating locations within the UK, excluding airport locations. The £11.99 per day price only applies to a Class A (Ford KA or similar) rented for a minimum of four days and a maximum of 17 days between 8th April 2011 and 9th May 2011. Please contact your local rental branch to check if they are participating in this offer before visiting your local rental branch or making your booking. Discounted prices available on other vehicles may vary and are subject to vehicle availability. Not all vehicle groups are subject to this promotion. Total charges include unlimited mileage within UK only, damage waiver (including theft protection), third party liability, road fund licence and VAT. Renter is responsible for any additional surcharges, petrol, local taxes, etc. may apply. Optional excess waiver applicable, costs vary by region. Renters must be 23 years or older. Young driver fee applicable to renters 23-24 years old. Availability is limited and normal rental qualifications apply. Other restrictions such as bank holidays and black out dates may apply. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discounted rate. Pick-up and drop-off service subject to geographic and other restrictions. For further details, please contact your local rental branch.

Actually, calculated it all and if you book a car hire that does overlap the offer period, then Enterprise will calculate the hire at their original price for the non-offer days and then at the £11.99 rate for the in-offer days. So they don't apply a single daily hire charge across the whole period, which is nice of them.
Enterprise in Milton Keynes are very good. They always used to give me top notch cars when my company car was in for a service. Which is more than can be said for Avis, etc.

Enterprise in York are excellent. Far better than others I've rented off - both service and cars. Hot. Although last time I was there, when the pretty young lady that handed over the key and said 'would you like me to show you any controls, I said, 'I think I'll be able to manage, thank you...'. It was only when I got in the car I realised it wasn't a key she'd handed me, just a fob. And there was nowhere to put a key in the dash... Oh. Em... not seen one of these car before? How do I start it? And there was noooooo way I was going back in to ask her. oO

Pretty young girl offers to show you the car... why the hell did you say no?
class A only! shame
class A only! shame

The price difference between A and B is marginal. I'd always pay the little difference to get a class B. Unless the class A was a Twingo GT, but there's not many of those on the fleet.

I wouldn't care what car they gave me (as long as I didn't have a big family). Fastest car in the world = Hire car!!

Most time they offer free upgrade ,my locals one do, not guaranteed always thou.
I could do with a MPV, but the price is £60 per day.

Anyone know of a better deal?

I would have thought that £60 a day is pretty good for an MPV. That's normally how much a pretty standard car would cost. How much are you expecting to pay?
How much for full "Additional protection products" ?

Today it's £44.79! I am still on the lookout for a better one..
I've just handed my hire car back and Enterprise were great. I had booked a Class A car (Ford Ka) but they gave me a Class B Vauxhall Corsa. The bigger car was nice, but I was sorta after high mpg over size. they offered to pick me up or drop me home and not a sausage wrong with the car.

Also, when I was booking, I tried just a three day hire and the price came through as £36.97 for the three days so perhaps the four day limit isn't necessary?
Would not recommend this company to anyone.hired a van on friday past due back saturday,told by sales guy to call if delayed,Got delayed due to major tailbacks because of accident on motorway called office in Aberdeen at 10 to 12 - message says office you require is closed now im left with the van till monday morning,handed it back and they took all my deposit bar £11.called about it and got well tuff attitude were keeping your money....Go to ARNOLD CLARK,Slightly dearer,but dont rip you off
not very good was still had to pay 150 young driver charge so not worth it tbh
AVOID at all costs - they will try to fleece extra money from you. And certainly dont have a cigarette because they will charge you for valeting - when they valet all cars anyhow! The cheeky sods at preston will say to you to return the car empty as they charge less for fuel "because they buy so much" ! If you read the paperwork its actually 30 pence more per litre than at the pump! Yes they may be cheap when you take the car but they certainly aint cheap when you return it - save yourself a few quid!
