hope there is still going to be an easter egg price war this year, with supermarket bills going through the roof.
#3
These are normally £2 I think. I couldn't be trusted to buy Easter eggs now and not eat them. HOT deal if you have a few to buy but don't bother if you know you'll devour them beforehand.
#4
Great deal. Was hoping this year that they would be cheap as well. Heat added

Easter Eggs in Feb...

What next, Pumpkins in March?

Good price.

I guess that's goodbye to the diet then

#7
oohh i wanted one the other day but thought £2 too much, for £1 I may well get one!
#8
there's a similar in our local Tesco and if the ASDA offer is based on the same sized eggs you don't get much chocolate for your money .... i think they're hollow as they didn't weigh much when i picked them up

you'd be better of buying bars of chocolate
#9
of ocurse the eggs are hollow mickpig. Choc bars about 50p (if you buy individually) and with this you get an egg as well. Hot from me

How Many Easter Eggs Are Solid Choc??
#11
Why on the Cold list, this is a real good deal!
#12
Can't believe it's egg discussion time already! Doesn't seem 5 mins since egg war 2008..
#13
I always wanted my big cadburys cream egg to be filled with the yummy goo when I was little...well I do still live in hope

Voted Hot, might pop in today and get a few, anybody know if its limited to so many per customer?
#14
I'll hold off voting for now, pending my local Asda getting some more esater eggs in.

I was only thinking yesterday evening when I was in the store, when are the easter eggs going to arrive?.
My local store only had one small shelf with them on and only 2 varieties, cadburys creme egg plus one other that I forget now, both were £2 each.

No disrespect, but a hot deal should be value for money. I would guess 1 Mars bar would be more filling certainly 2 bars would beat the amount of confectionery than these eggs. IMO Easter eggs are just another rip off. Easter (whatever your beliefs) is not about bunny rabbits acquiring the ability to lay chocolate eggs.

....i think they're hollow as they didn't weigh much when i picked them up

- what i mean is they feel as though there's no choc bar inside, just the hollow egg !

and yeah choc bars are 50p but you'd get more choc in a choc bar than it "FEELS" you would in the egg (in my humble opinion ;-)

... looks a much better deal if you like chocolate - nice link dr_aj

No surprise to me Easter eggs in Feb .....they appear on shelves as soon as selection boxes are taken off....Easter eggs are replaced by BBQ stuff.....which are then replaced by selection boxes again lol
#26

I remember when there was all those tins of choccies on offer at xmas, someone said the same was going to happen to the easter eggs as they have already been ordered and made, so have a big warehouse full of them to get rid off :-D
#35
I am sure there used to be a gap between Christmas and Easter for the January Sales then for Valentines Day. They really get stuck in early these days, I already have a cupboard full of Cremeggs
#36
Last years stock.

They did the same thing last year, as did Tesco

Voted hot. I think this is a lot of chocolate for £1. I think these are all over 200gm weight. Can't see them getting cheaper than this for this size egg!
