I presumed all shops half priced the easter eggs after easter?
#2
Most eggs were half price anyways on the run-up, never mind after.
Cold, for me...

Went shopping on Saturday night, £3 an egg. I'd prefer to eat my own vomit.

Form a thicker skin, or don't be so easily offended.
Fact is, it's not a good deal.

You probably won't be interested in getting half price (end of season offer but won't see anything under £3 except Dark Tiddly Chicks) Chocolate easter eggs from "hotel chocolat" then. (_;)
But just in case anyone is- here's their link and don't forget 11.1% discount via topcashback.

Yup, a bit pricey then, would be tempted if it was real chocolate and not the milky type.

It's the thought of people actually preferring to get 75% off of easter eggs when there is real food at 90% off that makes me feel sick.

Just updated my post no: 13 for 70% chocolate dark tiddly chicks for £2.50 from £5. or how about "the purist Extra thick easter egg (from £30 to £15)
Tasting notes -

65% Rabot Estate Dark, Saint Lucia – red fruit flavour notes slowly diminish to leave shiraz, black olives and spices, with an exceptionally long finish.

70% Chuao Dark, Venezuela – mellow flavours of roasted nuts, cream and caramel, raisins and malt with a long complex finish.

We’re delighted that our 65% Rabot Estate Dark, Saint Lucia received a 1 Gold Star Award at the 2010 Great Taste Awards.

While I agree that this site is becoming more hostile I just checked out the MSE forum to see if it was any better and this was the first thread I read - not really much better.

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3190984

I think that I will continue to read the posts as there are some really good deals sometimes but I probably won't submit any more as it just isn't worth the grief and aggro.

After reading the first page you linked to I think I will shut up as of now. For now.

Morrisons at Seaford have reduced the eggs to the same price that they have been at Asda for weeks.

No. The rudeness on this site is off putting. We will never know how many great deals have remained unposted because of the bad manners of far to many of the posters on this site. "Biting the hand that feeds" and all that.

Spoken like a true MSE'r,It's amazing how many of our deals find there way on to MSE.Will we ever know how many pointless posts we've been saved from by not putting up with crap posts? It's not a great surprise that Easter eggs will be half price after Easter is it?

Very strange unfriendly people on here, will do as a lot of other people do on here -not post just come on site for the deals. As person quoted on here, they would rather eat their own vomit than eat more chocolate then see the heat for the below post!

I based my criticism on that prior information. This post was old news indeed. That post was too new though as, funnily enough, out of curiosity I paid Sainsbury's a visit on Tuesday and there was not 75% off but 50% still, way too pricey for stuff I'd likely sick up anyway. I hardly even bother voting though, just come here to be parted from my readdies.
