The Easter eggs with the mugs are now only £1.50 at Tesco. At my local one, in Ilkley, they only had the Creme Egg one and the Caramel one but others might have different ones.

Good quality mugs - have my Aero and Kitkat one from 3 years ago, they're still in one piece and the colour hasn't faded, not even slightly, from either one. Hot, hot, hot!

If you want some chocolate just buy two Dairy Milk bars.. got to be cheaper than a layer of thin chocolate on eggs.

Got Kit Kat, Caramel, Milky Bar, Mini Eggs, Creme Egg and Aero, all with mugs, they were originally supposedly £6 then half price as I posted for a laugh at £3 even though they were only £2.75 before easter, but fancied getting a set of mugs

If only they were big creme eggs, that would be great!

How sick would you feel after a creme egg the size of an easter egg?

:(

What an eggcellent deal...sorry couldn't help it lol:p
#16
Damn these are still full price in my tezzas!

Got 3 of these on a 3 for £6 deal before easter. The mugs are smaller than the ones we got from cadbury eggs last year so they have ended up in the staff room at the gf's school. Still a good price but they are more cups than mugs now.
#18
I think this is the price they should be in the first place tbh.

Thats the thing, Tescos will still be making a profit at £1.50, so if they ever did sell them at £6 they are making an absolute killing

a killing at 6£ yes, i wouldnt be sure about a profit at 1.50£, maybe a tiny bit, maybe not, at times the big stores well sell things at a lose, since it gets people in to the store witch well they there they remember the sugar and chicken (or whatever they needed for dinner that night/week that wont be on sale but since your already there your going to buy it) and also clears space for new stock,

thats how on sale items work, they just how you buy more than just that one item while your there and thb about 90% of people would do just that

and any one that wants a better deal on these the mugs sale for 8.50£ on ebay and thats buy one sale it and go buy another 5 of them lol (and yes the world is full of silly people)

Priced up as £3 at my local, but a quick price check at CS revealed them to be £1.50

Loads of Caramel & quite a few Creme Egg left at Kidderminster

You like leaving cold votes, don't you. And you are very rude without necessity. If it is a bad deal vote cold by all means, but let us all know where you can do better.

I was in tesco recently and saw their 'sale' of easter eggs. Some were marked up at 50% off taking them from £2 to £1.

But they were only charging a quid for them before easter. These egg and cup packs were the same, they were on offer before easter too.

It's amusing to see from how hot this post has gone that Tesco isn't the only place full of mugs.

And as for those of you who are surprised and excited that supermarkets are selling of their unwanted seasonal goods cheap.............................where have you been hiding for the last few decades. LMAO.

The cheapest you could get these eggs before Easter was £2. That was when they did them at £6 BOGTF. £1.50 is cheap for this egg. If people want one then why shouldn't they get them and post about it? Stop being so miserable. You don't have to click the deal and you most certainly don't need to comment on it.

You don't have to click the deal and you most certainly don't need to comment on it.

Interesting standards you've got there.

You consider it acceptable to tell others what to do and what not to do when it clearly isn't your place to do so yet don't want them to comment on what they think of the deal and why they voted the way they did when they are clearly entitled to do so.

If you cant stop yourself from trying to tell others what to do when it's not your place to do so then you don't have to click the deal and you most certainly don't need to comment on it.

Oh dear you've got me doing it now. PFMSL.

I haven't told anyone what to do, if you read it properly.

I did but clearly your ignorance wont allow you to interpret 'You don't have to click the deal and you most certainly don't need to comment on it' as an instruction to other members simply because you don't agree with their opinion. Alway the way though ...............
#33
It's not an instruction. It's saying that if you're not interested in the deal then you don't HAVE to click on it and you don't HAVE to comment either. It's not telling you NOT to click or comment. It's saying that you have an option!

And they are full-size bars, not the smaller multipack ones. And the egg is bigger too. Like you, I went for these in preference to the mug/egg deal as they are the same price at our Tesco. Both deals are hot though.

Loads in Beaumont Leys Leicester store yesterday (Monday) - in the "Seasonal" isle.
