Aldi Goodmays is probably the worst Aldi in country..

Crazy unmannered customers and just as loony but rude staff.

I have had the older version of this for about 9 years and its still going strong and has always worked well. I bought this version a few weeks ago and it works even better. I have built a drying cupboard with rails for the boss to hang (herself) !!!! NO NO I mean hang wet clothes, and it works 10 times better than a tumble dryer in the winter. It actually has a clothes drying setting. Ive put the old one in my motorhome to stop the damp over the winter, and it fills up once a week. I was well happy paying £120 so this is fantastic for £65

I wish they would reduce them at my local store, they've got loads left.

I've got an anti condensation unit in the loft but kids room is still misted up in the morning and my kitchen furthest corner unit has damp issues. saying that before the unit every room had damp and mould growth the unit has made the house liveable but being an end of terrace without a cavity wall some points of the house still suffer the dreaded damp.

My local Aldi's has got staff issues too. Rude as hell. Even thrown my food on the floor before now. No good having great prices on stuff if they rough handle and damage them at the check out. Used to spend £150 a week there, but finally had enough of the staff and now I go to Lidl where the staff are lovely.

God... where do you people live, I have found the staff in the london and hertfordshire area's most Helpfull oO

Got one from my area just now at £89.90! It was the last unit. I still reckon it's a good buy! But for £64.90 u should buy 2 units! I was bring a bit silly just now showing this deal to the store manager and he explained it is up to the store itself yo reduce it. Obviously my local store didn't reduce it further because they were selling like hot cakes. Lucky I got one! Cheers op for the post! Tqvm!

Any users of this dehumidifier on here?
I've managed to get the last one in my local for £90, but I would like to know:
- Can anyone confirm if the air (that is being blown out). is this meant to be cool/cold air or warm air?

Thanks

Cool initially, then warm after a while.

Thanks for your reply. I have mine set on a timer for 1 hour and it's still blowing out cool air. Not sure if I have a faulty device :|

Probably not - the acid test, though, is whether it's collecting water in the plastic container. That may take a while, and depends on the humidity and the temperature. The warmer (and the higher the humidity) the quicker that will be. Give it 3 or 4 hours.

Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a test sometime.

I got mine today from Donnington, last one left. Scanned at £89.99 and got £15 off with the mirror voucher. So for £75 it seems ok, although it looks like it's been used as the box was re sealed and there was water in the tank.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy one now. All local Aldi stores seem to have sold out. my Postcode is CO10 7JT. Many thanks

These sold out pretty much everywhere weeks ago, and I doubt you'll find one now. You could try Aldi customer services to see if there happens to be one lurking undiscovered somewhere, but I doubt there'll be one.
