This is a really easy way to find sale items on Amazon, but works for many others. Simply search google with the following terms:

"you save" "(PERCENT%) PRODUCT RETAILER

for example:

"you save" "(60%)" wallet amazon

Increasing the percentage from 10 to 80 only takes about 20 seconds and works quite well, especially for sites that don't use Google Product (which often misses these). This is quite a simple trick and works on numerous retailers, play.com for example uses the same percentage format to promote deals, for instance:

"you save" "(50%)" helicopter play

Ebuyer is slightly different where an amount has to be entered. Two deals above will get you a cheap wallet or helicopter too :-).

Good tip!

Better still, don't use a percentage value and look for all discounted prices for your chosen product.

For Example:
"you save:" "%)" "hard drive" amazon

Nice Tips!! Thanks.

Point of interest?

Do you also follow that with +UK to make sure that all finds are in the UK or is there an easier way to do this?
#3
The UK version of google will do that for you, its up to the user really. I just find it generally useful as a catch all on the big generally cheaper websites. Saves me £1000s! compared to using Kelkoo etc. :-)

is there a way to exclude marketplace sellers when searching on amazon website?
if I want to see products sold by amazon? it would save a lot of time

there was a post on HUKD before about this, sometimes there's an option on amazon when you're searching for something down the left hand side.
"Can be shipped within one business day from Amazon.co.uk"

not through Google though, don't know about that.

You can restrict queries to a specific site by putting this in your query:
site:amazon.co.uk

So, the example from before becomes:
site:amazon.co.uk "you save" "(60%)" wallet

Hows abouts using jungleninja? (for amazon)
#9
Never seen that before. owned by HUKD as well.

Why do you think I mentioned it hehe

It is pretty handy though. It used to be integrated on here but ran out of room.

That only seems to work on Cd's, Games, DVDs, Books & such - in which case I'd rather use somthing like the find-cd, find-dvd, find-games websites as they compare multiple retailers...
