think thats the cheapest i,ve ever seen a flight to tenerife for £22 bargin, just one question on easy jet, if the flight is cancelled for whatever reason will they put you on a diffrent flight or do you have to pay again to get home, as i,ve heard this is what ryanair do,

Could someone explain the baggage stuff to me? According to the site, each passenger can carry 20kgs of 'hold baggage' but it then charges you for bags... can I take 20kgs each, and then the charge is ON TOP, or does it charge you per bag?
#11
found flights for £33 6 DEC ret 10DEC just book yellow ones remove insurance and hold baggage as you dont neeed as i think you can take 10 kg in cabin plenty for short stay

hi, yes just put the number of bags per person in the box, it will display the charge, this will be added to the final price. for example 2 adults booking return flight each bag cost lets say £7 so its 2 x £7 for flight out, and 2x£7 for the return flight total cost would be £28 this will show in your total price at checkout

Cheers.
Is there any restriction on hand luggage? Weight, no. of bags etc?
#17
not sure on the amount of weight but it be either 5kg or 10 as someone mentioned earlier more than likely to be 5kg as thats how much it is with thomas cook but may be diff with easy jet,its only 1 bag same as everywhere else i would imagine,

Great deals to Madeira too on this offer. I found £30 return Stansted/Funchal 27 Nov-4th Dec.

Competitor flight must depart within 2 hours of the easyJet flight.

After? Before? Both? Or split?

Sounds like a get out clause to me :).

Has anyone actually managed to get "double the difference"?

"Within" means it must be both, they can't dispute that.

After this year's Summer - I vote to bring back Global warming LOL!

We booked Easy Jet flights in the past which were cancelled & they offered a full refund or a free transfer to another flight.

Happened to me earlier this year. They put you on the next available flight; or money back and book your own. no compensation under any circs. The thing to do, if it happens to you; is RUN to the claims counter; because only a few ever seem to get flights the same or next day - I meandered to the desk, ended up queuing for about two hours, and was offered a flight in 4 days time; no compensation for hotels, nothing; ended up getting a refund and paying about £350 for a next day flight with a scheduled airline.

Not too worried - I've saved WAY more than that over the years.

Whereas quality airlines (like BA) just lose you bags and fix prices!! ;-)

Recently took easyjet from Gatwick to Alicante and it was all top notch. Just a bit of a long walk to the furthest departure gate in the airport! :whistling:

Sorry Sharkolos, aviation is responsible for less than 2% of global emissions. You will only add to climate change if there are more aircraft, but statistics are showing that airlines are grounding more aircraft than buying new ones.

This plane will fly, the question is will these people who want a really good deal be on that plane!!!

Still lots of good flights and times on offer was thinking of Amsterdam but don't know if i will be able to handle it at my age :-D
