My first post here! Bargain Prices for EBAC dehumidifiers. EBAC 6200 - save £200 was £329, now £129.98.

Also, only seen this instore, EBAC powerpac reduced from £200 to £100.

Good quality, powerful dehumidifiers and they look good.

I've got an EBAC Unit (don't know what model Number) but looks very similar to this, does Heat, Air Con and Dehumidifier functions a great unit although it's on the large size. Digital display with remote etc, well worth this price i paid nearly £250 for mine the middle of last year :?

Oops just had another look at the link and this isn't like mine, this just has the Dehumidifier function. Sorry for any confusion

i bought this a while ago and returned it as it was really noisey, it captured lots of water tho! superb price!

had a few ebacs...really noisy but do a good job. if you live in a massive house then great...got a small house then get one of the ""Compressor Free Dehumidifier""...have alook on ebay. they go fro around £100 inc P+P. they are much quieter and supposedly do a good job. plus they give out heat as well....but because of this they use more power about 30% more than a standard dehumidifier.

Good luck.

The best dehumidifier you can possibly buy is the rubydry or amberdry (the name depends on the colour). you could try looking www.rubydry.com I imagine.

They are compressor free (near silent) & the best by a long way.

As the item ends in .98 I have been told by Currys (0870) that its an end of line product and not many stores would have it.

They couldnt even check for me which branch anywhere actualluy had one.

Good price but impossible to buy. I work throughout the UK and have tried over 200 stores on reserve and collect and there is NO AVAILABILITY. So this is not hot.........

As others have said, EBAC's are large and noisy, and as they need to
be on throughout the night, not a good idea.
The compressor free alternatives sound like a better bet.

As has been said - impossible to find in stock anywhere - I spent several hours over three nights trying to find a store with stock from Land's End to John O' Groats...

Reserve and collect only shows when a store has more than 3 in stock, which is unlikely. I'll have a brief look tommorow when I'm in if I remember and post what stores have stock.

Ok, got one in the end...

Just go down in person to your local store and ask them to check stock for this model. A great bargain indeed!
