List an item for just 10p this Thursday 6th September whatever the starting price.

You can list items using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats. The Insertion Fee will be reduced to 10 pence for any eligible category you list in.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is this actually a decent deal from ebay? Like the old days.

Thanks edi, i've a few items to list too! :)

Oh, grrr. I had a bunch of stuff to list a few weeks ago, then they pulled out a cheap listing day so I decided to wait until this Thursday when all of that would be cleared, now they are having another one!

In fairness, it does look like a better one than usual...but still, grr. When you want em they never show up, when you don't they have 2 in the same month.

Thank you - great for BIN auctions. Don't remember last equivalent deal.

could someone tell me how much it would cost to list an item at £25 auction style and with a buy it now at £50. would i be correct in saying it would only cost 20p

it would cost a lot more than 20p for sure, its 15p usually just to start at 99p.

I don't know the fee without looking at the tables off hand as I don't have anything on there usually worth £25 or more.

Fees
Insertion fee: £0.75
Buy It Now Fee: £0.25
Gallery: £0.15
Total: * £1.15

thats what it be to start at £25 and then have a buy it now of £50,it wouldn't be wise to start at £25 anyway, you always best go the penny under likely.

It's about time ebay done away with listing fees. But it's been a while since there was a 10p buy it now day, so I suppose thats better than nothing...... for now!
#11

#12

Might be able to get rid of my undercar neons/bodykit bits now:w00t:
#13
yes you can set a start time as long as you have a registered card, its every 15 minutes e.g. 15:15, 16:30 etc
#14
excellent i've got a load of dvd's to sell
#15
February was the last 10p Buy it Now offer.

Finally Ebay have given into their greed and given a decent offer.

Hi, on Thursday only it will cost you 10p insertion fee and 10p to add a Buy it Now to the listing - if you add a gallery pic (always worth it IMO), total will be 35p.

If you listed it on thursday, can you have the auction end on thursday?
I always get confused predicting when auction will end

if you go for 10 day you looking at Sunday, personally for myself I don't have auctions ending on a Friday or Saturday night.
#26
Get them all ready on Auctiva and then list them at once, or Turbolister if it's still fee.
#27
why do they always do this on a wed or thu so i fyou choose 10 day auctions it will end on the weekend...

Does anyone know if it is better to make an auction end during the week?

Does this offer apply to BuyItNow WITH best offer?

Everybody's talking about the gallery fee being 15p...you might want to check as your listings as you load 'em up as my OH recieved THIS a while back listing the fee as 5p until the end of the year.
(EXEMPTIONS, AS ALWAYS APPLY)

Thanks for reminding me - I'd totally forgotten about the reduced gallery!

Edit: Just read the 'Eligible categories' list - mostly media items

i usually start clothes at 99p,but then i don't buy anything expensive in 1st place anyway,i'm happy to get 1 bid really.
Next,River Island and specially Monsoon is usually really popular even if used.

cheers i have to some collectables and dvds to sell, should shift them and ill use BIN with best offer - i hate the 10 days auction only, nobody bothers to big until last minute.

DVDs are only 5p to list, permanently - but carry a 9% FVF! :w00t:
