Create up to 100 listing(s) on eBay.co.uk in an eligible category, starting during the promotional period, using the auction-style or fixed price format and receive a 25% discount on their final value fees if the items sell.

Before your 100 listings start, you need to have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.

Also, you won’t pay an insertion fee for each of the 100 listings. Listing upgrade fees will still apply and will be charged according to the eBay fees policy.

Will those who vote cold explain why please ?
I sell 100 items per month sometimes, mostly uk but many international buyers as well - where else can I advertise something to millions of people all over the world at zero cost, only paying when something sells ?

I think People will be voting cold because it's invitation only and therefore it doesnt work for them.

Invitation only usually means that there is a reason why some people don't get it - sometime ebay split the promos and some people get them this week whilst others will get them next week for example, but very often those who don't get a promo should look at their accounts and try to work out why.
If your account has too many problems with returns and low buyer scores for example, ebay will 'punish' you to help improve their image.
My seller score is below 100% but I have had every promo for over a year now, so I honestly believe that in 99% of cases, the seller is at fault in some way for not getting a promo, and instead of moaning about it should start to ask for advice on the ebay seller forums for example, so experienced people can help them to change things so that they start to get all promos.
I am not a massive ebay fan by any means, but at the moment it's the best thing around and brings me a little bit of extra cash - I can sit at home or out in a café and list stuff at my leisure, then pack and post it again at a time of my choosing, and every month my paypal account has a little bit of extra money for me to either pay a bill or buy something extra for my children..... I cannot think of a job working for someone else where that would happen - can you ?

I got 25% off so thanks, but having real problems witn selling on eBay at the moment, I am only a casual seller and had to wait around a month to get paid out from a MacBook I sold due to not having enough selling history, the same with an iPhone a month or so earlier. Ebay and Paypal customer services are terrible too, one of their staff told me it was my fault as it wasn't marked as dispatched when i pointed them to the fact it was marked dispatched tje day aftee being sold she literally hung up the phone on me! sorry for the rant but I'm loathe to sell on eBay anymore

Your right I sold an item yesterday for £60.20 on e bay, got charged £2.14 PayPal fee, and also a £6.02 (10%) e bay final sellers fee so, £8.16 on a £60 sale, I also now have to pay the postage from my £52.04 , so probably end up around £48 actually to me.

Click the link, says it is expired.

I recently sold phones and hard drives on ebay total to almost £1k. It would help if I got the 25% off. It could save me £25 on fees to ebay this month and the next together.

I completely agree with you about 10% ebay final value fee which includes delivery charge, and 3.5 to 5% paypal fee. They are extortions.

Basically, you get around 85% of what you sold for, then you pay delivery charge on top.

I only use ebay to sell unwanted staff. Selling on ebay trying to get a profit is so hard nowadays. All profit simply taken by ebay.

Where is other place you can sell online in the UK give you the similar number of viewings and interest?

Please do not answer gumtree sort of website. Do not want the hassle.

I tried ebid. It is not working at all. Wasted time and effort. There is just not many people who buy from ebid.

because even with this offer you are paying 7.5% + paypal fees

ebay is a love/hate relationship.........and depending on what you sell it could be a whole bunch of hate due to dishonest buyers

So I listed six items. One sold on the 28th & two sold on the 29th. I've only received a 25% discount on the first one but on the other two I had to pay the full 10%.
