eBay's Black Friday selling deal. Yet another discounted final value fee promotion from them. Valid for those eligible activating the link and listing by 21 November.

Not as big a discount as some recently, but in combination with the 10x Nectar points for purchases the following week, demand may be higher than normal.

remember if you close an auction with bids on it, you will get charged the seller's fee

Possibly a silly question but will this apply to auctions already listed, ending soon?

It's activated on my account anyway - thanks OP!

Close auctions and relist for the the lower fees

Thanks. Activated mine. This is the only time I will sell anything to avoid paying their full fees.

Only listings which start during the promotion period are eligible

If you don't have bids you could end them and relist them.

I have activated the offer. Do you have to list by the 21st or does the item have to end by the 21st?

Here we go again - where else can you get worldwide coverage for items you are selling ....... free of charge unless you sell ?
I post to Brazil, Russia, Canada, most countries in Europe, and I only pay if I sell, so I set my selling price to allow for the fees, as does everyone else.
There's a lot wrong with ebay, but when I've got several hundred listings free of charge, I'm not complaining.

Just closed my auction for my power rack and relisted, half fees :D thanks OP

Is their anyway to tell what previous listing final value fees will be, I listed a few things for the £1 max FVF, but have a few I'm not sure if they hit that promotion or not ..

Can't believe Ebay haven't changed rules to stop people delisting and relisting so much

Great deal although I've kept the majority of listing at the £1 fee

I think they overlap them to confuse some people as they will forget that ones still live until the start of December on a BIN for 30 days.

That one was on between 30th October and November 2nd so if you listed them then on a BIN for 30 days they are still active.

I found out via another thread that if you look at the bottom of your selling page under promotional offers there's a "history" tab that shows all the previous promotions with dates,I never knew it was there it's very handy.

But that's ended so any new listings you have get 50% off so I don't understand how you're voting cold oO

ebay fees are disgusting. Beyond providing the infrastructure, which I appreciate is massive, they do virtually nothing but host the auction and still charge 10% whatever the final sales. I sold an item for £440 a few weeks ago and after ebay and PayPal fees, I ended up with £370.

£1 fee is better for anything over £20 i.e. Fee £2 less 50% =£1
But anything less and your saving

I seem to get that offer every few weeks, so unless you're in a rush to sell its cold or focusing on cheap items then its not worth it.
